This is a fantastic budget hotel in a great area of London. The rooms are decorated to a good standard, the shower/bathroom is a good size for the room and it is very clean. The weather was very humid when we visited, but the room was equipped with an electric fan to cool us down, which was a great idea.... More

I stayed at the Garth as a one night stop in London on business. Literally , somewhere to put my head for the night. The room i had was on the ground floor, the door lock seemed flimsy and the room was small. The TV didn't work, the wifi did, the towels were rock hard. The walls were paper thin... More

It seems like they had a double bed and surrounded it with walls. Yes, the room was a bit bigger then a bed. Equipment good but of minor quality. Very small bathroom. Strange - to open the glass bath door you have step out to the room. Some small things need repair, but service is very friendly and tries to... More

This was a charming place to stay. Good value for money, comfy beds and a quiet street. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere homely. The best feature of the whole experience was that the bedroom windows could be opened wide - a huge bonus in hot weather which enabled me to sleep soundly for the whole night - almost... More

Good location - very near Goodge St underground station. Friendly hotel with exceptionally clean room and very comfy beds. unfortunately the shower room in our room was so small as to make it nearly impossible to use. We had a very pleasant breakfast for such a budget hotel. Might be useful to know that if you have a problem with... More

We stayed in a quad room for 1 night. The room was basic with tea and coffee facilities and a tv but very spacious and very clean. En suite was a bit small but was fine for 1 night. Location was good with tube station only 5 mins walk or the top of oxford street was only 20 min stroll.... More

Although clearly not a luxury hotel, we felt that it represented good value for money in central London. It is a few minutes walk from several tube stations and in fact it is perfectly possible to walk right into the centre. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the breakfast again not luxurious but fine and good service. Rooms... More

Stayed for one night in May 2016 with other family members. Wasn't sure what to expect after seeing some of the reviews on here. My room was small but clean, and had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast good, and the staff friendly and efficient. Overall a good experience, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

My partner & i stayed here on the 24th of May as we were attending an awards ceremony in the city. The room was very clean & the beds were extremely comfortable. The location is great - 2 minutes from Googde station, so you can quickly & easily get into the city center. We needed to get to Picadilly for... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
