I stayed at this hotel for a three days work stay in London. The price is the main reason to select this place. My room was tiny. I had to close the suitcase to access the bathroom or open the door. The quality of the room equipment is also a bit shabby. Overall, I think it is a quite expensive...

Room a little tired, carpet could do with a clean and it all feels ready for a spruce up We'd stayed here for one night after seeing a show. Departure time 11am and someone knocked on our door shortly after 10....hmmm On the plus side it's in a great location for hopping on the train at Euston and is right...

Stayed here midweek for a works Xmas do. Good value? Considering it's bang in the centre of London and it's the Christmas run up, yes I would say excellent value. Clean? Yes, we arrived early and were able to drop bags off and there was an army of cleaners in the hotel. Clean sheets and towels. Bathroom was spotless, if...

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Reception was downstairs(no where near the front door). So my first impression, was how do I get in here. Once I was finally shown my room, there was a strange stale smell. Specially coming from the bathroom. The towels/bed sheets and carpet had a damp smell. The room was outdated and a lick...

I have just spent four nights in what I can only describe as a catalogue of disasters. I was travelling with my grown up daughter so had requested a twin room - which we were given - on the basement floor nest to the dining room and the office - result was at 6.45 in the morning staff started setting...

Stayed for one night. Locked out of room for 30 minutes as they couldn't unlock the bedroom door! Never had that before, room was cleanish but tired, couldn't open shower door fully as it hit the sink & shelf. Walls paper thin so could hear a baby crying all night and people were hanging out on the door step smoking...

We arrived at the hotel. Check in is down a flight of stairs. We were shown to our room in the basement it was compact. It was nicely decorated and the bathroom a good size compared to the small bed room which me and my daughter has to walk sideways to get round. The door lock was just a tale...

The Garth is so not worth going to. Good points - good location for public transportation, and the rooms were clean enough. Bad points - American baseball: 3 strikes and you're out. Beyond location, we (2 couples) rented 2 rooms for 2 nights arriving and 2 nights leaving 10 days later because The Garth not only advertised it had a...

The location was fairly central and close to a few Underground stops. Room was nice enough, but the bathroom was very small. Could barely close the door when inside. The person working was nice, but was supposed to call me a taxi for 5:00am, which apparently he didn't (at least none showed up).

This is a fantastic budget hotel in a great area of London. The rooms are decorated to a good standard, the shower/bathroom is a good size for the room and it is very clean. The weather was very humid when we visited, but the room was equipped with an electric fan to cool us down, which was a great idea....

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
