It's the second time I go to London and the second time I stay at the Windsor Hotel. It's a lovely hotel in an EXCELLENT location, right next to several restaurants, supermarket, pubs, the British Museum, bus and tube stations, but still in a quiet and lovely street. The owner is an amazing person.

Having only paid £25 for a twin room I was expecting something pretty horrific. However I was pleasantly surprised to find we had been upgraded to a spacious family room with a double and 2 single beds. The room could have been cleaner and the shower was a bit mouldy but for paying so little I really didn't mind. The...

Luckily we've only stayed one night in this hotel. It was very dirty, uncomfortable and disgusting. The carpet at the entrance and the stairs hasn't cleaned the last decades, the bottom of the stairfence is covered black by dust, the shower and toilet are located in the middle of the room, so you got no privacy during showering, mould was...

Have you ever booked a room with a private shower? It is just what we did in this case but much to our dissatisfaction, to use the toilet we needed to go out of the room to a shared toilet area. Private shower literally meant shower. The shower was very small and it was located in a corner of the...

The most disgusting Hotel I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in a few poor ones over the years! Approaching the building you think mmm this place needs a coat of paint. Look at the windows, flaking paint and bowed doors on the balcony. An old fashioned sign should have given away the fact this was going to...

I always thought I could stay anywhere if the sheets were clean. I was wrong. the photos they show on the sight are the room we stayed in. The toilet was blocked the shower didn't drain away and there was no hot water. It had one single plug socket. Hygiene is obviously only a word they have heard of butter...

´Hotel´ below any standards. Stinking, mold in bathrooms, dirty blankets, spiderwebs on the walls, rat-trap on the floor without any protection, no hot nor warm water in the ´shower´ in the room. The dirtiest place we´ve ever seen in our lives. Honestly, I´d never go there again even if somebody paid me to do so.

Bad impression since you enter the 'hotel'? For that price is ridiculously expensive poor dormitory. No TV, no socket to charge phone, nobody at reception. We got cheaper choice to stay before with good quality. Not suitable for family as we had to climb 3 floors with buggy and highly possibly to get stolen your stuff as warning at reception...

All of our family guests with children are happy in their stays and the free use of our hotel kitchen for warm-ups for the family and the secure garden are very much appreciated. We are sorry to read your comments and we do think that communication with our reception managers ( who Are there at all times ) would have...

This is by far the worst hotel we've ever stayed in. We stayed in five budget hotels on this particular trip, and all of them met or exceeded our expectations - except for Windsor House. The location is good, but the facility itself is far below any reasonable standards. The room was dirty, the in-room shower was moldy and didn't...

Firstly I would like to say that the location is fantastic! Close to tube, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants etc... Also lovely street and surrounding streets! Friendly staff. But, you will be greeted with a narrow staircase that goes up and up and up - no lift! A long way when you are on the top floor carrying luggage! Our room had...
