One night stay visiting London for Beating the Retreat by the Royal Marines on Horseguards. The Lidos Hotel was very clean and comfortable with a welcoming and friendly staff. Good value for money in London. Ideally situated for Victoria Coach and Rail Stations. There is a bus stop right outside, but the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace are just a 10 minute walk away. There are a number of cafes, pubs and restaurants just around the corner. Lots of choice and away from the noise and bustle, reasonably priced too.

If you are looking for a central hotel close to the main attractions and at a decent price then look no further!
I took this hotel for 1 night as it was close to the USA embassy. The single room I took was very small but comfortable and clean. Room had no AC and even with the window open no breeze came through, a fan in the room was provided to keep you cool in the summer heat. A kettle, shower gel, and small work desk all available in the single room. 3rd floor shower took a long time to warm up. Check in was swift and all staff I encountered were friendly and helpful.
Location is fantastic, you are no more than a 20 minute walk from Buckingham Palace, big ben, Parliament, the eye, Westminster Abbey etc, if you are looking to venture further then pimlico and Victoria tube stations are just a 5 minute walk! Loads of restaurants, cafes, mini markets etc around so it has all you need!
A small room that would not be great for longer stays but I'm sure the double room would be bigger and better for longer term.
Overall a very nice place to stay in Central London

We stayed in a hotel 4 nights. The room was very small, and you can tell that is an older hotel because of a carpet, flooring and bathrooms. All together was good beacuse a hotel is in a great location. Everything is close, bus station for bus 24 is just in front that takes you in a center. An receptionists were nice and helpfull.

Fantastic location, very clean, friendly and helpful staff, very reasonably priced. I contacted this hotel after another hotel I was staying in was very bad, in the hope that they may have some rooms available. Luckily they had one single room, I would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting London.

We stayed in the Hotel from 08.08. -13.08.2024 (5 nights) but the Hotel charged us 6 nights. We had a double room and a single room. At the day when we checked out they detect their fault and promised to refund the overpaiment. But after some mails and a phone call with the hotel managment they do not respond anymore. We could not recommend deal with Lidos Hotel in London.

Room cozy, compact, and overall decent. Only thing there is no A/C so in summer can be little bit warm in room. Staff is great and helpfull. Breakfast is decent and pretty rich. Also has elevator so no needs to climb the stairs. Most sight-seeing is 15 min walk. For budget 2-3 nights i would recommend.

A brilliant local gem. I was super impressed, the staff are very helpful and they went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable. For a budget hotel, the room space is generous and it was very clean. Fresh, lovely linen and I felt safe and relaxed being a single female traveller. Pleased to have found this gem as I will be back soon! Would highly recommend. Great location for business and tourist also.

Friendly staff, clean. Good enough breakfast. Close to Pimlico tube / victoria station. Excellent restaurants on the corner (italian and Grumbles) and good pub Constituion too. Only down side was that we'd booked a double room but there was a single in as well as the double bed so the room was a little cramped. We stayed Feb20. Not noisy over night - helped as we had a room at the back but the front isn't a noisy road I don't hitnk either. Woudl be happy to stay there again.

Well located, less than 10 minutes from Victoria. Friendly staff.
The bed is awful. The oldest, deepest mattress I've ever slept on in a hotel. When you lay down, it completely sank and you stuck the base. On the façade there are works, they should warn you somehow because from early on there are noises.
For one night, no more.
