Utterly delightful pub. Food great and staff lovely... but woefully few of them for which they apologised profusely bless them. Booked an outside table only to be told on arrival that they don't take bookings for outside tables. Bit odd. One thing to be aware of is this is a "child friendly" pub with a play area at the back... More

It's a busy pub, we know as we have been before. BUT they really exceeded in a delivering a less than enjoyable evening . After eventually taking the order , they lost it. The starters arrived one hour 40 mintes after we arrived , I don't think soup and charcuterie are that tricky . The mains of lamb and burger... More

We recently stayed at The Victoria Hotel for 4 nights. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a compact but spotless bathroom. The hotel has off street parking for guests, which is a true bonus. Continental breakfast, which offered a good variety of choice, was included in the rate- guests could also choose to pay extra for a cooked breakfast.... More

A mostly great staff makes up for the drawbacks. The rooms are small but clean and the bedding is nice. The biggest flaw was that the wifi did not work at all in our room. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. The biggest drawback: a mean bugger at the bar the night we checked in who refused to help find an... More

Loved the food and the venue, which is simple yet cosy. The only thing I would do differently is perhaps to visit for Sunday lunch when it'll be busier and therefore more of an ambiance. On Sunday evening it was kind of empty. The food was superb. Go and try it.

We stayed here for one night and the room was very clean, modern. Funky prints and carpet up to the 7 hotel rooms. Everything is very compact and cosy but the decor is stunning, bed was comfortable and the free cookies and large section of coffee, tea and water is welcome. I haven't stayed in a pub B&B for years... More
