To be fair several friends have had terrific Sunday roasts here but we weren’t so luck with dinner on Sat evening We had a dog so we were restricted to the bar area which we expected. Had there been 4 of us we would have been seated on one of the 3 larger tables which would have been fine. But... More

Like many people, we popped into this quaint pub for lunch after a long walk in Richmond Park. So the great things were; a very warm welcome from the staff for the 4 of us and our 2 dogs; great bitters on offer and a super ambience even on a fairy quiet Monday lunchtime; a good array of seating options;... Unfortunately there was an issue with the kitchen not being able to function due to refurbishment. I was informed of this prior to my arrival and told of alternative establishments to eat. They also gave me a reduction on my room rate. The room was brilliant. The staff were attentive and professional. I really can't fault them. I have booked... More

We have visited The Victoria on several occasions in the past and been very impressed. However, the past three visits have been terrible. You may wonder why we have kept going back, but just keep hoping 'normal service will be resumed'. On our last visit, for my husbands birthday, we booked the table for 3pm and were served food at... Hard to find, tucked away in the leafy suburbs of South West London, surrounded by spectacular houses and Richmond park, sits The Victoria. This was our fifth visit in three years. . . and it's still hard to find. . but joy. . . service, quality of food, value for money and ambience have not changed one iota. Great for... More

For our second visit we came on Sunday and after a few drinks we let the staff convince us to tried the two roasts. And we glad we tried. The roast is as good as the A la carte dishes and we had a very enjoyable meal.

On business in the area and decided to visit Kew Gardens and stay over. What a find. Lovely room, not large, but very nicely done, and amazing garden with outside kitchen. Fab food and lovely helpful staff who found us the nicest driver ever to take us to Kew. Would certainly visit again if in the area, but make sure... More

This was our third visit to the Victoria and we have been met each time by warm and friendly staff who go out of their way to make you feel relaxed. On previous visits we have enjoyed the cosy atmosphere in winter months with the fires lit but this time the weather was gorgeous and we were able to sit... More

I visited the Victoria with my family and my father for a Saturday evening meal. It is hard to work out which was worse, the service or the food. Service started slow and over the course of the meal I was unclear who was looking after us. Plenty of staff, but all very random. One starter we ordered from the... More

Utterly delightful pub. Food great and staff lovely... but woefully few of them for which they apologised profusely bless them. Booked an outside table only to be told on arrival that they don't take bookings for outside tables. Bit odd. One thing to be aware of is this is a "child friendly" pub with a play area at the back... More

Hello Thank you for your comments, kids at the best of times can be challenging and am pleased you enjoyed the food and service.
