We stayed 6 days and enjoyed ourselves. Rooms are compact by North American standards but are clean, well appointed and well located. All staff are polite, well mannered and helpful. Special mention should go to Kimberly, Gabriella and CynAnn at the front desk who have all the above attributes and were very helpful making our visit most enjoyable.

Ice cream afternoon tea with a bottle of prosecco for two. Excellent value. Given a warm welcome from Cristina Sandwiches made with a variety of different breads including carrot bread. Hummus sandwich with cheese and cucumber was lovely. Fab selection of small cakes, a jelly, scones and an ice cream cone to finish Wide variety of teas to choose from. We were served by Rangel who was super friendly and couldn't have done anymore to make our experience better, even offered to take photos .

We enjoyed our recent one-night stay at the Park Grand. In particular, the staff were extremely professional, helpful and courteous, and there was someone at the desk 24/7. The rooms were clean and comfortable (albeit quite small, particularly the bathroom, but this was not a major issue), and the breakfast was excellent. Additionally, the location was beautiful, as well as conveniently placed just minutes from Paddington station.

We stay here when attending Hyde Park events. Staff very efficient and friendly. The lady running the breakfast dining on Sunday 15th September should be paid double whatever she’s earning and I told her so. She greeted everyone with a smile, explained the breakfast set up, seated us, dispensed terrific service whilst under extreme pressure, including making toast, teas and coffees, clearing tables etc. A terrific example of what real hospitality is all about. She only appeared to have the support of one young waitress, who was also polite and efficient and a chef who was doing his best to keep up with the hot buffet as well as making omelettes! The niggle for us was not being able to use the bar after we returned from the Proms on Saturday. We arrived at 11.10 pm to be told by the reception staff that the bar wasn’t open! but it was a Saturday and this is London! We were quite taken aback to be honest. Another guest directed us to The Cleveland Arms across the road where we had a couple of beers and wine to finish our night.

My friend and I have an afternoon tea once a month in London ,usually using a Wowcher voucher . Two days ago we visited the Park Grand , we got the tube to Queensway and walked for about 6 minutes through a very nice area before we found the hotel . We had a warm welcome and were given a choice of seats by the very attentive waiter Rangel, he even poured my tea for me. A cake stand was promptly brought , delicious sandwiches ,a warm scone with jam and cream and a chocolate mousse and a selection of delightful cakes ....everything was perfect. We were too full to eat all the cakes so Rangel offered to box them up so we could take them home. Being a smoker I asked if I could smoke at the few tables that are outside and Rangel even brought me another pot of tea outside. We spent 3 hours at this hotel and it was a fantastic relaxing afternoon .
