My friend and I have chosen this hotel firstly for the position, arriving by plane at Gatwick, the best way to reach London is the Gatwick Express and this arrive at Victoria Station. From the train station it takes 10 minutes by foot to reach the hotel! The rooms are large and comfy, a big wardrobe, some drawers, a desk...

Very good hotel with a very nice staff. Breakfast is served at your table, offen with a small chat. Our room was very quiet and nice. We spend 4 days in London, to celebrate my 60 years birthday. The hotel is a very good "startpoint" fore many atraktions. The bus nr 24 is right ahead the door and it goes...

I can't even say enough great about this hotel! Our room for 4 was much larger than I expected. Great layout for a family -- double bed and 2 twin beds for kids. The English breakfasts (included) were amazing! Location less than 1/2 mile from Victoria Station, Buckingham, Westminster, etc. etc. was perfect. But the best part was Bernard and...

My wife and I stayed here for two nights on our first trip to London and had a great time. The hotel is conveniently located on a picturesque block in Pimlico, near the Tube stop. The service was attentive and swift (and since we took the red-eye they let us drop our bags early well before check in.) The room...

My husband & I stayed here last Saturday. On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly man who let us leave our bags there as we arrived earlier than check-in time. The room was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed, shower room & tea & coffee supplied-always a welcome bonus for us! Breakfast was lovely & served by the...

We took Rick Steves' and other TripAdvisors' reviews into account and picked the Luna Simone for our quick visit to London. Very responsive via email prior to the trip. Our small (not for those with very large suitcases!) room was clean, up to date, and comfortable. No elevator, but not too big a deal for us (48 and 56, not...

The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was clean, bright and nicely appointed. The hotel was a 10 minute walk to nearest Underground station. They allowed me to keep my luggage there even after checkout, so I could do some museum visits before catching my flight home in the evening. So, helpful! The breakfast (included) was very generous and...

We visit London once or twice a year to catch up on the shows and exhibitions and have been staying at 'The Luna Simone' on our visits for over ten years. It is family run, in a super location for the bus and underground, is very quiet and provides a brilliant breakfast. I think we have stayed in most of...

The Luna and Simone is a small family hotel right on the #24 bus line, a 5 minute walk from the Pimlico Tube and 10 minutes from Victoria Station. My room was a double and was three floors up; there is no lift so if you aren't good with stairs be sure to request a lower floor. The room was...

We loved the Luna & Simone! We stayed five nights and not once were we disappointed. . The rooms are small, but comfortable and clean. The breakfasts are delicious. The staff is wonderful; accommodating and cheerful. Centrally located for easy access to most of London. Would absolutely return.

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
