Treehouse Hotel London captivates many guests with its whimsically designed rooms that offer both comfort and stunning views, though light sleepers might be perturbed by noise and issues with temperature control. The hotel's cleanliness is widely commended, as is the eco-conscious approach to maintenance. While the vibrant atmosphere is a draw for guests, the lively music can impinge on sleep quality. Service at Treehouse Hotel is often described as exemplary, contributing to a sense of good value despite some concerns about pricing and additional service fees. Its central location is a boon for those looking to explore London, although it comes with the caveat of potential street noise.

Ideal location
Original decoration in an industrial but warm style
Spacious room with plenty of storage
A la carte breakfast varied and good quality Special mention for waffles and pastries
Friendly and responsive staff
Flat: Saturday night noise from the 15th floor bar
Even if a filtered water point is available in the hallway to fill the glass bottle, it would be nice if it were filled every day by the room staff
Besides, the room service should be free (£5) knowing that it is a basic service for a hotel of this category

The exceptional service, location, and accommodations of the Treehouse London far exceeded our expectations! My husband and I took a week’s trip to London from the States, to visit our daughter. I live with a respiratory/inflammatory condition that requires me to take many precautions prior to traveling, to ensure that I do not have flareups of my condition.
I was very nervous about staying in a hotel and did several hours of research before contacting the Treehouse London. I was feeling optimistic when I reached out, as the manager, Mr. Davis, was happily willing to accommodate all of my requests, including placing a fresh air filter in our room, removing rugs and providing a deep cleaning with healthy, unscented cleaners. Mr. Davis and I kept in touch over two months’ time, and when we arrived on January 4th, I nearly broke down in tears upon entering our hotel room. All requests had been met, and I did not have one health issue! It was really, truly a dream come true!
The location of the Treehouse London can’t be beat! It sits at the edge of Regent Street, adjacent to the BBC headquarters, around the corner from Marylebone High Street, and a stone’s throw away from Oxford Street. Very walkable and with Underground stations conveniently located close by, it is very easy to get out and explore this amazing city!
Our flight back to the States was cancelled on January 11th and the next available flight was two days later! The Treehouse London happily accommodated us, and we were able to stay in the same room for an additional two evenings (bonus😊).

Upon future trips to London, I will only stay at the Treehouse London. One of a kind exceptional service, delicious food in their 15th floor restaurant, Maderra, comfy, cozy rooms, outstanding views, great location and wonderful people!

I had a wonderful stay with my sister for our first trip to London. The location is perfect to everything London has to offer. The room is a great size and the staff is SO accommodating. We were so happy to receive early check in after a long flight we were able to take a short nap and explore. Unfortunately they have a DJ on Saturday nights and they put us on floor 14 so it was incredibly loud. If it was just communicated that there was a DJ until 11:30 we would’ve either waited for another room or stayed out later and not expect to sleep at 8 pm to fight out jet lag. There was also a routine fire alarm Monday at 11am. We heard foot steps and furniture moving the entire stay, we wouldn’t have minded as much if we were able to sleep, that first night is crucial and truly impacted our trip. The staff immediately offered us another room the next night but moving all of our things was just another inconvenience since we were informed it was only on the weekend but it was VERY loud the entire stay so we wish we did. Our choice of course. A Little communication about these things could’ve gone a long way to make our stay a little more pleasurable. We didn’t care for Medera - it was expensive compared to other spots and not great quality food. I would absolutely stay at the Treehouse again knowing these little details because the staff, the hotel and location were truly WONDERFUL!

I am usually not a fan of hotels, Air B&B is my preferred accommodations, BUT if every hotel was like the Treehouse, I'd stay in hotels again and again. I cannot get over how special the staff made us feel staying here, every host when you walk through the front doors was extremely friendly, especially this one gentleman (who I wish we caught his name) but he chatted us up each and every time we saw him and made my day every time, leaving us the delicious chocolates upon our arrival, and how amazing our room looked every time we returned from exploring thanks to the amazing housekeeping. In addition to that, the rooms here are absolutely adorable, all of the little details make you feel like you are staying in a cute adult treehouse, but make it luxurious. ALSO - the beds are some of the comfiest I've ever slept in, I could have stayed snuggled up inside of my room for the entire trip because of those beds. My only complaint (not a real complaint) is the black out curtains - I could've gone into a sleeping coma for a month straight between those comfy beds and the black out curtains.

What made our stay stand out from other hotels was the service from the staff, who worked hard to make sure everything was good, especially Iulia. We chose the hotel because it was dog friendly, and as well as putting us in touch with a trustworthy local dog sitter so that we could go to a show and providing a dog bed, they also provided extras like dog treats and a can of nice dog food. I haven’t stayed in other London hotels in this price range so it’s hard to make a direct comparison to anything else but, given the lovely location and the personal level of service, we were very happy with our experience. For us, it would be lovely if there were a few slightly cheaper room options/deals available so that we could make it our regular choice in London, but we recognise that it represents good value for the standard of service provided, the amazing views from the rooms and its central location. We also liked that they were trying to be a bit different from lots of hotels by being eco-conscious. I would feel really comfortable staying again with our puppy and hope that we can do so in the future.

I absolutely agree with the review from Zak S. I booked a stay here as a treat for my wife as the room looked beautiful and the hotel is in a prime location. Our room was on the 12th floor and when we returned to the room in the evening to settle down for the night was when the problems started. I had booked a room with window seats specifically because my wife loves to sit in them and admire the views, but the windows are so drafty that she couldn't sit in them as it was too cold. It turns out the hotel is in an old building converted from offices and the windows have never been updated. The draft could easily have been rectified with a £5 roll of insulating tape but noone seems to have thought of that.
There was loud music booming through the ceiling until 12:30am which made going to sleep impossible. I called down to reception who said they would ask them to turn it down , it didn't get any quieter.
The following morning I wanted to get the room nice and warm before my wife got out of bed but the air conditioning did not work! There is a touch screen control in the room but no matter what options I selected, the same steady trickle of cold air flowed into the room. The room was so cold the window frames has condensation from the damp air. An engineer did attend and eventually replace the controller but even with the now working air con it did not warm the room enough to offset the draft from the windows.
I had checked with reception that there would be no noise disturbance the following night and was assured there was no party, but again there was loud music booming from the ceiling till 12:30am.
I have given the same feedback as Zak S to the hotel and also heard absolutely nothing which is why I am leaving this review now. The management needs to decide if they want this property to be a top class hotel or a party venue.
I would say the staff at the hotel do their best under what is probably a difficult situation they are put in by the owners/ management. We did receive a discount on our first night due to the noise and a free meal due to the air conditioning issue but we still wouldn't return there as it is such an expensive place to go if you can't be guaranteed to not have dance music blaring out all hours of the night.

Dear Alithebongo, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We deeply regret that your recent stay with us did not meet your expectations and that your experience was impacted by multiple challenges. We sincerely apologize for the issues with the windows, air conditioning, and the noise disturbances during your stay. Our property is housed in a converted building, and while we strive to preserve its charm, we recognize that comfort must never be compromised. Your comments about the drafty windows and the air conditioning system have been noted, and I can assure you that these points will be reviewed with our maintenance team to prevent similar experiences in the future. It’s disappointing to hear that despite our team’s efforts to address the noise issue, it persisted. We take these concerns very seriously and will review our procedures to ensure we deliver on promises of a peaceful environment for our guests. I’m glad to hear you found our team helpful and accommodating. They truly aim to provide the best service possible under all circumstances, and I will share your kind words with them. While we regret to hear that you would not return, we appreciate your honest feedback. It is through reviews like yours that we can identify areas of improvement and work toward creating better experiences for all our guests. If there is anything further we can do to address your concerns or make amends, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. Warmest wishes, Team Treehouse 🌳✨

I was kept awake most of the night due to building work outside as the rooms only have single glazing. This was on the 10th floor also. I ordered room service but my order got lost and wasn't delivered until an hour later when I chased it up. There was no complimentary drinking water in the rooms and still water was £3.50 in the minibar. Ultimately I was not able to get the rest I needed for my work trip.

From start to finish, from our arrival to departure, we were superbly looked after. Staff are so friendly, helpful & welcoming, and nothing is too much trouble. We were able to check in to our room early and allocated a fabulous king lookout room with stunning views over Langham Place and beyond. The room had every amenity we required, it was so comfortable and well equipped for a quiet nights’s sleep and some r&r. Breakfast and evening meal in the rooftop Madera restaurant with its amazing skyline views was just 5* with delicious food presented beautifully. Again staff were the best and service top notch. The location of this hotel is fabulous as was the overall experience and I would not hesitate to return and highly recommend as a special stay in our capital city :)

What a brilliant hotel!

Booked for an overnight stay. Had mentioned on the booking that it was our wedding anniversary, which the staff acknowledged on our arrival and departure! They were so friendly and welcoming, and it felt more genuine than when staying in some larger hotel chains.

The way the building has been redesigned and refurbished is excellent. Our bedroom (Lookout King on 9th floor) and bathroom were immaculately presented, with little quirks of items of interest around the rooms. The view over All Souls Church gave a view of London not usually seen. When we had breakfast on the 15th floor, there were further amazing views. The food was great too.

Our stay was supposed to be a one-off (as we don’t live that far away) but we want to go back!

We chose The Treehouse hotell London for a special occasion - my wife's 40th birthday trip to London, and the experience was largely remarkable.

Upon our booking of two twin lookout rooms, the hotel staff's proactive approach was truly appreciated. As our trip neared, they reached out to inquire about our stay details. On learning about the birthday celebration, they generously offered a complimentary upgrade for one of our rooms. Their responsiveness and eagerness to enhance our experience was noteworthy.

Location-wise, the hotel scores top marks. It's strategically situated within a stone's throw of Soho and Oxford Street, making dining and shopping adventures absolutely convenient.

However, a couple of issues dampened the experience slightly. The single twin room we occupied had a door leading to an adjoining room. Late one night, this proved to be less than soundproof when we were awakened by loud voices and noises. Thankfully, a quick call to the front desk had security address the issue promptly. Additionally, the windows didn't quite keep out the city's bustling noises.

Pros:

Proactive and accommodating hotel staff
Prime location near popular London attractions
Swift response to issues

Cons:

Poor soundproofing for the inter-room door
Exterior noise seeping through windows

Overall, our stay at The Treehouse hotel was memorable, particularly due to the staff's attention to detail and the unbeatable location. If soundproofing can be enhanced, it'd be near perfect. Would still recommend, especially for those keen on exploring the heart of London.
