St. Ermin's Hotel is fascinating; it is quaint, charming, and the architecture is great. St. Ermin's has a great history and is located between Buckingham Palace and the Thames. Look it up on Google Earth or Maps to see the famous attractions within walking distance of the hotel. The staff was unbelievable; from the door man (Patrick) that greeted us,...

We picked this hotel for its location & history and were not disappointed the interior of the lobby was lovely & oozed elegance. ( Nice Chrismas decorations,) Rooms were well appointed & the bed very comfortable! All those little "extras" certainly made a difference - it all seemed very "personal." The Caxton bar is very cosy to indulge in a...

My wife and I enjoyed st ermin's hospitality for a Christmas shopping break in London. Good location for tourist sites at Westminster and Buckingham Palace etc. Stunning entrance and lobby very nice. Great staff attention and service but our room a little small. Caxton Bar good for cocktails but menu a little little limited. Surrounding bars etc a little quiet...

Room designs / decor are beautiful adding to the overall feel. Bed was comfortable and good in the bar nice. Only niggle would be the noise in the room - we were...

The conceirge staff was great! Went out of their way to assist when I had problems finding things that I needed to purchase while in London. They were also helpful in recommendations for dinner. Easy check-in and check- out. Desk staff pleasant and friendly while I stayed.

My wife and I recently stayed at St. Ermin's for 5 nights. It is simply an amazing hotel and is full of history and amazing service. The location is a perfect spot to sightsee on foot and is also only 2 blocks from the St James Park Underground station. The hotel restaurant is very good. The service staff are incredible...

First time to London and was only there for a few days. Staying at St. Ermin's was definitely part of our wonderful visit!! The staff, especially the gentlemen that help with your luggage, go way above and beyond to be helpful and they have a wealth of great information about the city. Our room was wonderful and quite comfy. The...

This is a very comfortable hotel, with outstandingly helpful staff. We were in London for a few days to revisit the tourist spots, and this hotel was ideally located, being very close to Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, with a tube station less than 5 minutes away.

St. Ermin's Hotel is ideally situated for getting around London. St. James Park underground station is nearby as are bus stops. The decor of the hotel is outstanding and would be a good setting for 'Cinderella' or 'Fairyland'! Some of the public rooms remind one of a good club. The rooms are comfortable and the food and wines are good...

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
