If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.

Taking my daughter and two granddaughters to Europe for the young girls first time just needed to be a good experience. This hotel gave it! Our room was fresh and pretty, the location was fabulous, and the staff, so friendly. It was the 4th of July and the hotel had a big courtyard party with mini hot dogs, hamburgers, ice cream and wine - so VERY cute. The girls were enchanted.I would highly recommend this hotel. It had no feeling of "chain hotel", it had great personality. Also the items in the mini-bar were free to guests!

This is my second time here, this tine with my family. Great rooms and super friendly staff. I like the location and I like the vibe of this hotel. The underground is a 2 mins walk and main attractions also within walking distance, at least during summer time. The only minus was breakfast on Saturday, super crowded and poorly served.

This hotel is autograph version of the Marriott hotels. You will get your rewards points. It does not have a club lounge but instead, we were treated to an amazing breakfast each day. Each evening there were wine served with different theme each afternoon like ice cream, cotton candy etc. the hotel is gorgeous, service is amazing and I will definitely go back.

Dear Mahta, Boy oh boy! I am just over the moon that you had such great vacation with us! You are absolutely right, St. Ermin's sit nicely under the Marriott Autograph Collection brand and although we do not have a lounge, we do offer our extremely varied breakfast buffet complimentary to our Platinum, Titanium and Ambassador members. Isn’t it a great idea and a perfect way to start the day by having breakfast in our lovely Caxton Restaurant? During summer, we launched our #StErminsExtras located in our flowery courtyard where our guest can enjoy a glass of wine and depending of the day a cup of ice cream, fresh popcorn or even cotton candy! We love to make our guests happy and my team works so hard every day to provide the amazing service you mentioned! Once again, thank you for your fantastic review! We look forward to welcoming you back! Warm regards, Douglas Douglas McHugh General Manager

This was my third time staying at the St. Ermins, and I came in with high expectations given my past experiences. On the whole the hotel still measures up, with the staff still professional and the accommodations clean and of high quality. However, the quality of the breakfast buffet at this hotel has noticably declined, with lower quality food items and less selection than what I recall from the past. It's become less vegetarian friendly as well. I would recommend that the management improve the offering with higher quality food items soon. As one of the members of my party put it, the breakfast at the St. Ermins was not very different from one offered at a Holiday Inn...and thats not the standard I would expect from this otherwise excellent hotel.

Dear Jiyen1213, Thank you very much for choosing St Ermin’s Hotel for the third time. I am pleased to read you had a great stay overall and that the service my team has provided was professional. It is a shame that the quality of the breakfast did not meet your expectations. The comments we usually receive are extremely positive and highlight the good variety on offer. I'm sorry you found that there weren't enough vegetarian options, we will definitively take your thoughts on board. We very much hope to see you again soon, Warm regards, Douglas Douglas McHugh General Manager

Just finished my second stay at St. Ermin's - stayed there five years ago and loved it so much there was no thought of staying anywhere else when we knew we were headed back to London this year. It starts with the greeting by the well appointed staff out front who took our luggage and greeted us warmly. Then the folks at reception were most cordial and provided impeccable service. The place itself is like stepping back in time but with all the modern amenities you could want. The room was clean and bright; the bed was quite comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding. There is no other place I can imagine staying in London.

Hi There, Boy oh boy, what can I say other than thank you so very much for this recommendation! Thank you for commenting on how lovely the hotel is. We do receive lots of comments saying how our lobby area is just like walking in to a fairy tale, especially with our white staircase leading to the lobby balcony and our courtyard is like a little piece of quietness away from the hustle and bustle of the London streets. I'm delighted to read that my team really stood out for you, specially that they all made you feel so welcome from arrival to departure. I have to say I'm so proud of all of them! It was a pleasure to welcome you and we can't wait to see you return. Warm regards Douglas Douglas McHugh General Manager
