The rooms are wonderful. There are several restaurants to choose from. We enjoyed a light pub fare by the fireplace. The location is spot on for any place you need to be in London. The lobby is larger enough that you do not feel cramped...More
Hard to top a stay in this beautiful hotel. It is beautifully designed, charmingly British, and perfectly located in Westminster. Buckingham Palace is about 3 blocks in one direction, Westminster Abbey is a 5-10 minutes’ walk in the other. St. James Park tube station is...More
First of all, Mr. Gary and Mr. Adrian Bolmoga of St. Ermin's helped to make my stay very comfortable. Their city insight and pointed Underground directions were spot on.
I loved this hotel and can't wait to return. It was quiet, in a perfect spot...More
Wow what a treat!
From the moment I check in until I check out, the staff are the best service ever!
At the Caxton bar friendly welcome smiles from Erika, like we were long lost friends. The Caxton grill, was proper and awesome service.
Full of history- ask the very friendly hotel staff about the history of this charming hotel. Hint- Sir Winston Churchill
The staff made our stay here amazing - they brought me a treat for my birthday and gave us many recommendations of places to visit....More
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are
highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.

Honestly I don’t think it will. I stayed at this hotel in a room with two double beds and there were three of us, Me, my husband and my teenage daughter, and the room was really small and the beds were tiny. I shared a bed with my daughter and we were really tight , and we are five foot people! I mean I loved the hotel , location is great but the rooms and beds are on the small side even for European standards

Room size overall is small, as you must expect for a hotel in the city, especially in London. I doubt courtyard views from rooms are guaranteed, but there is a ground level “sitting porch” and an upper level porch where drinks and lite bites are served, that look out on to the courtyard gardens. I suggest you contact the hotel directly to get specific answers regarding room rates and views for the type of room you are requesting. I hope this info is helpful to you, and know you will enjoy your stay. It’s a great comfortable hotel in a very convienient location for touring London.
We used our hotel shuttle but Uber is also available. We left very early in the morning and only took us 35 minutes but that was without traffic. You should consult your hotel for traffic at other times of day.
