I had a really lovely stay here. Beautiful room, four poster bed and lovely shower. Great view over Hampstead High Street, I used to live in London so was nice to open the window and listen to the hubbub. Friendly staff and perfect location.

We made the Kings Boutique Hotel our homebase while touring London. It's very close to the tube station and a short walk to Hampstead Heath. It was very cool to go up a secret staircase and get to our rooms above the pub. The only issue we had was the plumbing in the walls...crazy loud whooshing sound every time someone...

Lovely room overlooking Hampstead High St and 2 minutes walk from the tube station. The four poster bed is huge and really comfortable with lots of pillows / cushions. Bathroom is small but clean, TV, iron coffee making facilities and water provided. It's just a shame that guests are asked not to use the balcony. Check in was through the...

We booked this hotel as we were attending a wedding in Hampstead. We knew it was above a pub but were taken in by the Boutique in the title. It hardly counts as a hotel as it's just a pub with a few shabby rooms. We had twin beds and one of them was virtually collapsing. The rug was very...

Stayed for just one night. Think this could be a really nice place , but needs a lot of investment. Room was ok , but tired. Bed comfy and slept well. The rooms are above the pub. No issues with noise from the bar the night we stayed. The tube station is a few minutes walk away. Lots of nice...

My daughter and I stayed in a twin bedded room for one night as she had day surgery at local hospital and needed to be back there early next day. Agree hard to find as is actually above King William1V pub; hard to contact - answer mobile phone but not consistently; hard to access when pub closed; room clean but...

I'll keep it quick as this review is more of a buyer beware warning than anything else. Bad points: They screwed up our booking and despite two calls and an e-mail - they didn't reply. They'd booked us in for the day before then gave us a different room, which they said was better [see our pictures] If your idea...

We ate in the pub part in Hamsptead High Street at lunchtime. Had a goats cheese salad, (£5.95) which was very nice. However, we asked for some bread (it didn't come with it). Were told 'That will be £1.50...' had to pay in advance. Then four thin slices of bread took a good ten minutes to arrive by which time...

Awful experience. There was a spotlight shining on room all night from the pub which made the room very light. Very loud music playing until 1.30am from the pub downstairs. The room itself was unfinished - they hadn't completed the wooden floor underneath the bed so if you stood next to the bed - your toes disappeared onto bare floorboards.

The only redeeming feature of this hotel is its location. It may be perfect for a single teenage traveller with no expectations, but for an adult travelling with kids it was a nightmare. There is no front desk, in fact, no desk or reception at all. It's really not a hotel, but a smelly pub with a few dingy rooms...
