The hotel is well located within walking distance of London sights. In the current Covid times the hotel has safety correctly organised. All the staff were friendly and even wearing face masks we could see their eyes smiling. The room was a good size and layout and clean and well equipped. There is no room servicing but a quick text message to the number given to us on a card at check in soon had extra coffees brought to our room. The restaurant was not open and dining in is provided by local delivery which we did not try as there are plenty of places to eat in the area and we prefer not to eat in our room. Looking forward to normality and a return here to use all the hotel services which if this stay is anything to go by will be good too.
The hotel itself was fine, what you’d expect for the money. Clean room, each room with a seal to prove it was clean and hadn’t been entered. The bathroom door was a bit weird, two sliding doors that met at right angles rather than a normal door , presumably to save space. The staff were friendly, but when I asked them about how I pay the congestion charge or if there was any discount for staying in a hotel in the area I was told “oh I don’t know, I think it’s all automatic, you will get a letter to pay the bill”... Well they weren’t wrong,I got a penalty charge notice from TFL for £80 (on the day I drove in, still waiting to see if I get a second for the day I left). After talking with TGL I should have logged on to their site on the day I arrived in London and entered my detail and pay the £15 charge. The hotel staff should know this kind of information and the fact they’re in the congestion charge Zone should be listed on their website with links on how to pay …
Like many people in this current climate we were apprehensive about staying in a hotel, we have stayed here before so knew location and some of the hotel facilities however we knew current restrictions would change things. The current procedures here made is feel as safe as possible. The deep clean seals on the room, the spotless interior, TV remote in sealed plastic bag, personal temperature check on check-in, hand sanitisers at lift entrance, in lift and all public areas and the clear but not dictatorial safety instructions all helped to make our stay relaxing. There was no daily housekeeping, however a request to reception for replenishment of consumables, saw them delivered in sealed bags. For anyone feeling nervous about staying in a hotel in these uncertain times, I can highly recommend Club Quarters, Lincoln’s Inn Fields.…
This is a vEry nice hotel, positioned very close to Covent Garden. Excellent Covid 19 procedures. Room was spacious and clean. Staff very attentive and helpful. Very good location to visit central london.
Great hotel with close to city centre. Really pleased with the customer service. We needed a later check out time due to catching the sleeper train and the staff was happy to accommodate our request for a very reasonable fee. Loved the size of the room and the fact that there was a microwave and a fridge in the room as well. Black out curtains and a massive TV was a nice touch as well. Will come again hopefully soon!
