Me and my sister decided a trip to London was in order, we we're told by friends to stay in Camden so glad we did.. I booked this hotel as it was the cheapest at the time but it was brilliant. The rooms were clean, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the location was great, literally a two... More

The hotel is situated a few seconds from Chalk Farm tube station which is the quieter end of Camden. Upon checking in, the receptionist was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is dated and in need of a refurbishment. The rooms are small and pokey, the shower rails heavily rusted, and the noise from traffic outside was pretty loud. The... More

stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Hotel clean , just perfect for what we were looking for. Breakfast was well worth the money. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back again! Just a shame we couldn't stay longer.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights, Friday & Saturday, which I booked as a surprise birthday weekend for him. I booked it as it was the cheapest hotel in Camden and meant we could have our own private room rather than book a hostel. The location is amazing. Chalk Farm tube station is right across the road... For £100 (envious of those who got a cheaper deal), booked through LateRooms.com, this was not the hotel at Camden Lock, which we thought it was! However, that was my fault for insufficient research! This hotel looked a bit of a dump from the outside, but inside, although rather scruffy in places, it was redeemed by a very friendly receptionist.... More

I stayed at the Camden Lock Hotel this Friday Night and didn't have very high expectations given the price I assumed it wouldn't be that good. Boy was I wrong! The location was excellent the staff could not have been more helpful and the rooms were clean and comfy. I will be staying here more often such a brilliant find!

Stayed for 1 night for a gig at the Forum in Kentish Town. Right beside a tube station and only 15 minutes walk to the venue. Very friendly staff who let me check into my room early. Travelled alone so had a single room which had everything in it for 1 nights stay - and for £70 great value for... More

I chose this hotel to attend a concert close by, so location-wise this hotel fit the bill. So did the price - considering it's London - which was £70 including breakfast. Now to my stay. The hotel looks a little unassuming from the outside but I was greeted by a helpful receptionist who gave me a double room instead of... More

I bet there aren't many place you can stop in North London for 75 quid. It's basic and hardly sparkles and I didn't see any lifts, but the staff are friendly , it has en suite and there's a decent coffee bar next to the lobby. Chalk farm tube is right opposite! Perfect for a quick visit.

Stayed here for 2 nights in September 2014. The location is great, only 2 mins walk from Chalk Farm tube station and close to Camden Lock and Primrose Hill. Our room on the third floor was simply decorated but spotless. The reception staff were welcoming. Will definitely recommend to friends.
