I and my wife booked a 2 bed apartment here for 2 weeks for a business contract. Firstly the service was terrible. There was no instructions on how to get into the car park on the 1st floor as you needed a card, they didnt give us one! The Dedicated building manager, when we finally located him, his own fob did not work for the car park barrier OR to get back into the building! we had to wait for almost 2 hours to get inside. Not nice when your wife is also pregnant and it is evening time. The car park attendant at the main gates said he always has issues with 'circus apartment' guests not given proper fobs/tickets or even clear instructions, he was not happy. * No-one answers when to press the assistant button - left standing outside for ages * no-one answers the phone when you ring- NOT very dedicated staff after all. * After 2 hours we get into the apartment........The front door does not lock from the inside, it is jammed - a security issue * One of the Toilets in the bathroom does not flush - faulty flush * The door to the living room - The handle came off in your hand- faulty handle * The TV in the front room was missing - just wires hanging out and a remote on the TV stand * The heating was on full and it was very very hot inside - we had to turn it down and inside the 2nd bedroom it was cold - not sure the heating works properly in that room. * Toilet seats are very cheap and tacky and do not even fit the toilet properly - someone probably replaced them with the wrong size hence thats why they were cheap and nasty. It seems the whole place is very badly run as the staff (when you can find one that it) have no clue as to what to do. Even getting out the next morning with the car was a huge hassle as the barrier did not open as the new staff (different from yesterday) her fob did not work!!! I had to please with the main car park manager who kindly let me out and said "on this occasion, and tell circus apartments to sort it out as we always have trouble with them" What we thought was going to be a fairly nice or at least standard apartment for 2 weeks started as a nightmare. It seems anyone will and does write nice things on their website and advertising platforms about dedicated staff/manager, interior designed apartments and LED lighting under the kitchen cabinet........keep the LED lighting and just get me into the apartment I paid for with a working toilet and handles that dont fall off, with a TV in the front room!!!!!! Ladies and gentlemen you probably like me, work hard for your money _ FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO STAY this really is not worth the headache and trouble. I have taken videos of all the incidents mentioned above should someone who cares wants proof.…
This is NOT a Hotel but a residential apartment building that lets flats for long or short stays on proper residential contracts. Stunning apartments all come with smart TVs in the lounge and bedrooms, smart fitted kitchens, and has great facility's for the residence like Residence TV room, Residence day room, discount of Gym membership
This was our 7th stay and we always come back because of the great staff and service. Staff is always very nice and happy to see you. Warm comfortable setting. Great location in Canary Wharf. We will be back again.
First impression was not great as they had double booked our room and we were moved to another apartment block (not a great start after a very long flight from the Med), staff very apologetic and tried to do their best. The new apartment block was actually much closer to the Canary Wharf station so proved to be a positive. Well setup apartment with enough kit to allow users to self cater and eat in. Lack of air conditioning was a bit of a problem even during mid September, but outside the big international hotel chains this is the norm in the UK (we found to our cost over the next two weeks!). Apartments are not serviced regularly so make sure your teenagers hang that wet towel up! Overall a very good place to stay and at a reasonably competitive price.
We traveled as a family of 4 (including a 19 year old boy and 16 year old girl) on vacation. We stayed here over a week. I would say the positives are: you get a lot of square footage (2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms); the price is reasonable for London; and, the Canary Wharf area is safe and clean. The negatives are as follows: the place is worn out and needs fresh paint, new carpet and new furniture; the shower was only luke warm; there were no electrical outlets in the bathroom for anything but a shaver (problematic for trying to use a hairdryer); and, most doors within the unit would not stay open without wedging a door stopper under the door (and they did not provide enough stoppers). This was annoying. As far as the location, Canary Wharf is a clean, safe business/financial district. However, the hotel was not as convenient to the underground as I had hoped based on other reviews I read. The Canary Wharf underground and DLR stations are an approximately 15 - 20 minute walk from the hotel. Most underground trips into central London from Canary Wharf are 20-25 minutes on the tube. I would estimate approx. 45-60 minutes total time from hotel to most central London destinations. I will probably look for other hotel alternatives on our next trip.…
We received our room very quickly thanks to the kind receptionist that day 23/6, the apartment was very comfortable clean and well organized, the stuff was very helpful especially Laura, we enjoyed her input on every subject that we requested her assistance , she was kind and very patient. We would definitely recommend this place and also hope to come back soon! Good Job!
My check-in experience was awful. The receptionist was new and asked me to pay again because I did not have the card that I made the booking with me. After she took the money, she realised that she should not have done that and apologised. When the money was refunded, it came to a few dollars short because of foreign exchange. The apartment was very clean, beautiful, comfortable and fully furnished with all the facilities. There is a 24/7 reception service, and the cleaner comes every three days to clean. The challenging thing was to get a taxi or uber in this location because it is not easy to locate.
We rented one apartment with them. The location was at Canary Warf. Easy access to train, food market and restaurants. It was an apartment with full kitchen and also had washer and dryer inside the apartment.
Well located and affordable accommodation. The apartment is well kept, clean, calm and spacious. Easy access from LCY. Excellent shopping opportunities within easy reach. Well equipped kitchen, might have some additional dishes to avoid having to do the washing too often. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. If you miss something, just ask and your concern will be looked after.
Attending concert at O2 booked into Circus Apartments Canary Wharf, London for one night. Superb spacious apartment, well appointed and very clean. Well furnished and equipped. Underfloor heating in bathroom. TV’s in all rooms. If I had to make a negative comment the TV’s are on the small size, but that is my personal opinion. Service was great and would definitely return. Better than a hotel.
