Stayed one night and it was fine for the cost. The bedroom was tatty but clean and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was fine and the location was great. Would i take my wife for a weekend in London and stay here? No i wouldn't but for me it was fine

Got this hotel as part of a package deal with Superbreaks. £139 for 2 nights and rail travel. This is deinately the " poor relative" of the Imperial Hotel chain that has some nice properites around Russel Square and represent fantastic value. I was a bit concerned that toilet and shower facilities wre shared but my fears were unfounded. As... More

I have spent three nights here, I had bussiness nearby, so the location was OK. I suppose that is the only advantage of the hotel. Shared bathroom, shared toilet, tiny little rooms, old bed, the windows are broken you cannot close them. I left the hotel completely exhausted.

This is one of the best value hotels I've found in London; the prices are extremely keen provided you book through the Imperial Hotels chain's own website, e.g. b&b for as little as about £35 at times, and two nights b&b plus three course dinner all-in for about £90: amazing! For dinner you are actually issued with a chit that... More

Ok, so you've paid the cheaper side of £50 a night for a London hotel less than 5 mins from Kings cross. You get what youve paid for! You dont get en suite rooms and you dont get plush luxury. What you do get is clean (albeit shabby) room with clean towels and enough tea and coffeee supplies to keep... More

Second time I've stayed here, again was a great budget hotel. Can't ask for more for location, comfy bed, clean room and friendly staff. Breakfast is decent too, it is dated and basic but can't expect much more for the price. There's no bar here though so useful to get a few drinks etc for your room. Also make sure... More

For the price we paid, i found it excellent value for money. It is a basic hotel and quite old fashioned, however the rooms and bedding was clean. Shared bathrooms were also very clean and had individual bath mats to put down. Breakfast included which was bacon, sausages, eggs, beans, tomatoes, toast, cereal and was ok. Centrally located near to... More

If you're looking for a place to kip for the night on the cheap, this is the place. Paid as low as £37 for a room for the night, with breakfast included. The room was good enough to get a good night's sleep, change and leave the next morning. The toilets and bathrooms are shared (I got a sink in... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
