Honestly, the most incredible experience. I fly over to London a few times a year and this will now be my go to hotel and I will make sure all my friends and family know about it too!

To begin, the architecture of this building is a delight. I loved observing every aspect of detail and I was so mesmorised by how beautiful this building is- everything is so sleek and modern. An absolute delight!

Check In:
We had a super early flight and arrived at the hotel before check in time to see if we could just freshen up before heading out for the afternoon again. Although our room wasn’t ready ( we came super early!), we were allowed to use the transfer lounge which has a gym, shower facilities. I think it’s Francesco who checked us in and honestly, he could not have been more helpful. He is so good at his job! Nothing was a problem and he took the time to show us the facilities and answered any other questions we had! Thank you so much! Even the other staff were all so friendly and made time to talk to us and chat about our plans for the day. Checkin was super quick which was brilliant as in so many hotels, it’s so drawn out! A really lovely feature was a little juice dispenser by the reception with a tasting juice of the day- so lovely!

Rooms;
We were on the 9th floor and the rooms were outstanding. So beautifully designed, beds were sooooo comfortable ( pillows were amazing) and everything just exceeded our expectations. Loved the Nespresso machine and biscuits! Shower was amazing- everything was just so beautiful!

Food
We decided to eat at the bar area of the hotel that night and so glad we did- the curry was a delight and the steak sandwich was the best I’ve tried! Again, our servers were so lovely including Walter! The ambience and vibe was so chill and I could easily have stayed here all evening but we had the theatre booked!
Breakfast the next day was also outstanding - everything and anything you could want in the most beautiful surroundings. I especially loved the crockery that it was served on- so beautiful.
Walter once again looked after us and he was so kind, and checked we were ok! I noticed he took the time to help so many other guests and nothing was ever a problem!

Gym:
Everything so clean, fresh and modern- facilities were truly amazing!

In a nutshell, I will be choosing this hotel for all trips to London for good! I am already planning to be back in Dec again and cannot wait! Thank you for all especially Francesco and Walter! The best place!

Just outside the congestion zone, you can park at Minories Car Park very reasonably. The hotel is new, decorated in soothing materials and colours that are easy on the eyes. The staff are excellent - a particular shout out goes to the night staff, who went above and beyond with drinks and Pizzas at 3:30am in the morning. Breakfast was cook-to-order English of a very high standard. I would happily return again.

Stayed here for 3 nights for an anniversary celebration and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome throughout our trip with thoughtful touches, great hospitality and care.

Liam on the front desk was a particular highlight and managed to get a laugh out of two weary travellers upon arrival. You can tell that everyone is excited to be working in this new property and thats quite a lovely feeling when all the staff can't do enough for you because they love their new hotel too!

The hotel itself is impressive - lovely decor, spotlessly clean common areas and very well polished. There are a number of pieces of art both in the lobby, in the corridors and even in the room if that is your thing.

I'm a big fan of the fact the rooms come with a refillable glass bottle and there are filtered water taps and ice machines on each floor to reduce plastic usage.

The rooms have really comfortable beds and blackout blinds to keep the lights and noises from entering your room.

We tried some of the food and cocktails at the coffee shop/bar in the lobby - everything was nicely presented and tasty. We appreciated the fact there were a number of vegan options to try. There was also non dairy milk and vegan cheese available at breakfast (vegan cheese by request from the staff).

With this being a new hotel there are a few niggles that need to be ironed out- first one was in relation to the AC control panel in the room. For some reason, despite turning the AC off, it would turn itself back on in the middle of the night without fail. The backlight for the AC control panel also stayed on even when the lights were off which could be distracting to light sleepers as it is by the bed.

The second was a bit less pleasant and involved a transparent band aid/plaster from a previous guest being found stuck to the floor in the room we stayed in. Admittedly it was well camouflaged on the pale floors and these things happen but it was a bit icky. Apart from that the room was clean and tidy.

Overall, I'd be happy to stay again in this hotel and this is mainly down to the fantastic staff!

We stayed for more than 13 nights in May 2022. The good points- The front of office managers were mostly stellar in terms of handling our every concern and waiving of charges to make up for shortcomings in other areas. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the location was alright once you got your bearings. I had chosen the hotel specifically because it was new, and appreciated the clean modern furnishings, good gym facilities and vibrant feel. The aircon issue was less of an issue given the lower temps in May. The hotel was generous with extra toiletries when requested and refilling nespresso capsules. Laundry was very well done and room service staff very friendly and efficient.

However, what has prompted me to leave a less than 5 star review is the lack of response on some legitimate queries which has to some extent undone an otherwise good impression. It is illogical for the hotel to extend apologies for other customers' reviews relating to the eggs at breakfast but pretending that they didn't receive my emails.

Firstly the picture of the suite clearly didn't match the actual room (there was one more window in the website picture) and the hotel hasn't bothered to reply to me.

There was also no complimentary beverage "manager reception" and bathrobes and slippers for part of the stay, despite being stated features on the site.

Secondly, throughout our long stay, we had requested for the bed not to be made as that was where we kept clean clothes during a trip where we packed light. However despite many many messages and discussions with nearly every member of the hotel's FOH and Housekeeping staff, time and time again we would come back to the clothes cast onto the dirty sofa. It became stressful and farcical and one wondered if Housekeeping was sending a message to me. There was also one day where a dirty cloth was left on the table and on the bed, right after I told them of my preference to leave the bed alone.

As mentioned, FOH waived many laundry charges to compensate for this but on the last weekend before we left, this did not help as the laundry service was closed on weekends.

One thing that was disappointing was the lack of response after we checked out, despite numerous emails sent.

Decided to leave this review given that others have complained about far less, and the hotel always gives the impression that it will respond but hasn't after 2 months. While the pricing isn't the most expensive, as others have mentioned this is not exactly a budget option given the location (Far away from the main attractions and transportation nodes).

Great London stay !
The hotel met all our expectations and more. we stayed for 6 nights and had 2 rooms booked (one queen size and one with 2 twin beds)
It is a new hotel; rooms are large and spacious (in comparison to other London / Paris / NYC hotels). It is not in the center of the touristic part of the city but has excellent location just minutes from Tower of London and Tower bridge. Hotel is located literally 90 seconds walk for a Tube station.
Everything was wonderful, starting with a courtesy phone call a day prior to our arrival, to go over the reservation and check for any specials needs or occasion. The greetings at reception, by the same lady that made the call a day before, the room decoration with balloons and cake (since we had 2 birthdays we celebrated).
Rooms were spotless and were cleaned daily. beds were excellent, and comfortable. There is an ice machine and cold filtered water on every floor.
We had breakfast in the hotel only on the last morning.it was a good English breakfast with good options (not a huge buffet but a really good).breakfast is 20 GBP for an adult with both kids eating for free .
The only thing that MAYBY you should consider is to ask for a room away from the elevator because the PA system (calling-out every floor number) is very loud and it is must be annoying if your room is next to the elevator.

We will definitely consider Canopy London for our next stay (in July 2023 - hopefully)

I am a remote worker who stays in the City regularly as our head office is there, I stay over two or three times a month, for one -four nights, this Canopy by Hilton is one of my regular hotels, not only that, it is my favourite. I have been staying here since the first week it opened.

The rooms are specious, comfortable and functional. The beds are extremely comfortable. The shower pressure is always good and the water always comes out at the temperature you set it to, if you stayed in hotels as often as I do, you would know how rare it is for this to be consistent, as it is here. The chilled water taps in the hall give you great tasting chilled water, there are Nespresso machines in the rooms which is another nice touch. The TVs always work and the desk is a good size. There is a good iron and ironing board for shirts etc., a good space to store luggage and a good amount of hangers to put your clothes. The rooms are always completely silent, regardless of time of day.

The breakfast is great, many more options than most hotels nearby, all of which are much tastier than those offered by those hotels, the service is as attentive as a high end restaurant.

Perhaps this hotel's best feature is the staff. They are all absolutely wonderful, many of them have remembered me and not had to ask my name to find me in the system. I can remember some of their names, but will not list the ones I can as this would take away from the ones I have been served by less often who are equally deserving of praise. Just one example of their outstanding service is when they were having problems finding my Hilton Honors account to add my points, they called me to confirm my number and then confirmed on check out that the points had been added. Most hotels would not have bothered doing this and I would have had to sort it myself if I wished to get my points.

I should also mention, this hotel has very good travel links, it is right next to Aldgate tube station, a bus station as well as Liverpool Street, Whitechapel stations and many more tube stations being a short walk away.

Only small issue with this hotel is that sometimes its prices are extremely high, to the point where it exceeds the allowance set by my company, which is more generous than most companies in the City set, so I cannot stay here. At those prices, you could stay at a higher end hotel. This being said, if people are paying these prices, I cannot fault the hotel for charging this.

In conclusion, if this hotel is in your budget, stay here.

We loved our stay, the room was beautiful and everything felt so clean and luxurious. I just never wanted to leave and am not sure I can say enough to elaborate my appreciation!

The room was spacious, with so many amenities (incl. a big fridge drawer and USB outlets by the bed), the beds were insanely comfy, lighting well designed and we did not hear a single thing from the outside, other guests or anything else in our room. I slept like a baby and felt very secure (hygienically, leaving my belongings there and opening the door when knocked as you could only get to room levels with a key). I would have liked a little more water pressure in the shower, but also appreciated the environmentally friendly design.

There was an ice/water station on every floor and enough elevators so you never had to wait or share it with others.

Service was also so great, room cleaning happening early and meticulously, quick and friendly bar service and Alberto in the reception always made us smile and gave us great advice and service!

Everything ran so smoothly and worked so well, it is obviously a new and fresh hotel run by absolute professionals with great ambition for comfort and hospitality.

The hotel is very conveniently located, with an underground station only a few steps away and cafés, stores and attractions close by.

Pro tip: check the prices on the Hilton website, booking directly with them gave me the best price and access to the Hilton app where I could check in before arrival, choose my room and have a bluetooth key for the elevator and my room.

This hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from Aldgate tube station. There’s always a warm and friendly welcome from staff, they really make an effort to help you feel comfortable, which is especially nice for solo travelers (like me). The interior of the hotel and room is beautiful and the room was so comfortable and each room has artwork by local artists. The public areas are beautifully curated too.

The room comes with a refillable glass bottle and there are filtered water taps and ice machines on each floor (love this!) There’s even a fridge in each room which is great to keep extra snacks and a Nespresso machine. The shower is fabulous and the beds are gorgeous.

Concierge is exceptional: very helpful and engaging. Upon arrival they could tell I was tired (straight off a red eye from NY) and swiftly found a room for me (I wish I could remember her name, alas I was ‘very’ tired!). Later, when I had an issue with noise, Alberto went above and beyond to resolve it, helping me to transfer to another room and personally following up with me to make sure I was settled in and comfortable.

I’ve been so impressed with all of my stay so far, it’s been superb. Way over and above what I expected. Thank you!

Don’t usually stay in this area when visiting London.
We had an event close to the Tower of London, so wanted to be close.
Had stayed in a Canopy in Iceland, and this one did not disappoint.
Since this is a new Hotel, all the areas, are modern and in very good condition.
Bedrooms are a good size, and bathrooms have a good walk in shower with plenty of pressure. The rooms are very quiet and you could not hear any outside traffic noise.
No issues with any of the in room features and good air conditioning, given the heat.
Bed and oversized pillows were extremely comfortable.
All staff members were friendly and personable- breakfast staff especially
Near plenty of restaurants and great public transport options —
Would definitely return,

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights as we travelled around London with our 3 daughters, 11, 12, and 14. We loved the option of booking connecting rooms, as the kids are bigger now and everyone needs more space to sleep comfortably. It’s hard to find good hotels for families of 5! The rooms were absolutely stunning with modern decor and comfortable, new furnishings. Washrooms we’re beautiful, great shower and toiletries.

We could control the temperature of the rooms ourselves and everything was in perfect working order. Lots of room to hang clothes and place suitcases.

One of our rooms was not ready upon check in and we were disappointed as we had spent a lot of extra money to have the second room for the 3 kids so we could all sleep comfortably after a long night of travel from Canada. I politely mentioned this at the front desk later in the night when we went to collect the keys. The gentleman at the desk was very polite and apologetic and offered to refund us one night for the late room. Wow…finally some great customer service, which seems so hard to find these days. I liked the fact that we weren’t offered a free breakfast or bottle of wine for a room that wasn’t ready on time. We felt like it was a fair compensation for the room not being ready and we didn’t have to suggest it ourselves or put up a fight. Well done and I wish I could remember the name of the gentleman who we dealt with.

The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the Aldgate underground stop and it was super convenient to get all around London from there. You can easily walk to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge from the hotel. There is also an amazing and cheap pizza place about a 5 minute walk from the hotel called, Pizza Union. We walked and picked up pizzas to eat in our room on our last night. There are also great coffee shops and a supermarket nearby. The hotel is in a quiet area and we never heard a sound outside of our rooms. The lobby is stunning and has many areas to sit. The breakfast was included in our deal and it was amazing. It had something to please everyone, including grab and go items and coffee to go if you want a breakfast on the run.

Overall, we had a great stay at this beautiful hotel and we are quite picky about where we stay when we travel. I highly recommend this hotel and we would definitely stay here again should we ever get back to London!
