Only stayed one night but room fabulous, staff friendly and very helpful. Also stayed here 6 years ago for a hen weekend and couldn't fault it then. Though only one request would have been good if breakfast was included in the price. However if I have the chance for another stay in London I would always choose The Grange City...

Me and my husband spent a night here on the 25th February to celebrate his birthday. Prior to arrival, I emailed the hotel twice to request robes and slippers and a room with a view of the tower. I also warned the hotel that I would be bringing my own cake and bubbly which I wanted them to dish up...

Yet another fab stay at the Grange City. Julie and I have stayed here before and were once again suitably impressed by the brilliant staff and beautiful room overlooking the Tower. The facilities here are great with a nice pool and leisure areas. Great bar and superb service. Would we go back? Yes yes yes.

I stayed couple of days ago in the hotel and went to Isis bar for a dinner. I had ruff day and I went there to have dinner. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly manners of staff and particularly Petar who had served me. He recommended me a beer and a dish as I am from Portugal and he...

Very friendly staff. Rooms are small but ok. Clean. Awesome 25m pool. I enjoyed the Gym (perfectly equipped) and the spa (pool, Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna). Will come back again and recommend this hotel.

First visit to London in a good many years and this hotel was chosen by our daughters as our Christmas present - they brought us down for the weekend and chose this hotel specifically for its location. Proximity to Tower Hill tube and London Bridge and the Tower of London was just great and suited our needs perfectly. Upon arrival,...

Have stayed in this hotel before and found it very good. On this occasion I stayed for 1 night and was allocated 106, a room in a wing on the 1st floor only accessible by lift! Very embarrassing when you a getting in a lift on the 1st floor just simply to go down to the ground floor. With respect...

We booked this hotel last minute and got a great deal... It's a brilliant location for the Tower of London, just 2 mins walk from Tower Hill tube and 5 mins from the Tower of London. If you can book a 10th floor room I would recommend asking for a city view. A real plus point for this hotel is...

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
