I stayed here as I was meeting some friends in Hampstead on Friday night and just wanted a decent place to stay with breakfast included which didnt break the bank. I booked on line and paid what i though was a good rate for the area that i was in. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Dimitri who was really helpful as I accidentally left my car key in the room and he called me to let me know and I was able to go back and collect. Nothing was too much trouble for the the staff there and therefore I would 100% stay here again and recommend this hotel.

This hotel is clean, warm and welcoming. The staff are friendly and professional. Our room was clean and comfortable, my only criticism would be that it was too warm but with sub zero temperatures outside perhaps I'm being too critical. It is a 10 minute tube ride from Kings Cross on the Metropolitan line and handy for the delights of Camden Market.

We had arrived, from Ireland, to our Airbnb, but it was a dump. Late at night, very tired and wet we hurriedly scanned for an affordable hotel. We found this one but we had no idea whether this would be another mistake. But we found a warm, friendly greeting. Our room was smallish but it had all the usual facilities, with breakfast included! The reception staff were amazing, helpful and dealt with all our needs. The breakfast room was never uncomfortably crowded and the range of food was fine. We would happily stay there again- with the same staff!

Hotel is conveniently placed and free parking is a bonus, however there was no lounge/bar although it was advertised when we booked, and appears to be under refurbishment. It would have been nice to have been informed before we arrived tired and thirsty after a very long journey. The TV in our room didn't work and even after 2 nights had not been fixed. The staff blamed a recent storm from a few days previously having damaged the booster but it had still not been fixed when we left. The breakfast buffet was plentiful but the cooked items were only tepid. Not sure why the wheelie bins were noisily wheeled through the car park at 4.30am; a rather unpleasant wake up call.

Absolutely appalling service! A member of my staff booked a night and had to cancel due to her father having a serious stroke that day. As her father lives in France, she had to pay for a flight out and the hotel are charging the £300, despite me explaining, she’s extremely anxious about this as she will struggle to afford with the other expenses due to the emergency. A very rude member of staff (Stephanie) always answers the phone and when I asked for a Manager’s email, she told me it’s on the website! I told her I couldn’t locate it and she still refused to give it to me. I can not understand this level of service - my advice would be to steer clear of this hotel!!!!!!

I arrived at this hotel early in the morning exhausted after an overnight flight. The front desk clerk worked hard at getting me an early check-in into a room facing the back. While trying to relax I heard a lot of door slamming and ambient noise. The room is very small and basic with no refrigerator. The heating is an old-fashioned radiator but since the heat was turned off I just braved the chill. There is of course no air conditioning. A free breakfast is included in the rate and was fine. The location is at the edge of Hampstead and near a main road with shops and a tube station.

Overall, a nice hotel. The breakfast is great! The "Full English" plus more. Situated on a pleasant side street with a commercial street nearby. Three grocery stores nearby, along with restauarnts and a small mall. Underground station a short walk away. Good location for quick travel into the center city. No ice machine for guests. Waitrose grocery next to underground sells bags of ice. If the hotel wants to cater to US guests they should get an ice machine.

Met all my needs as a solo woman traveler: 5 minutes to tube, clean and quiet room, choice of many restaurants nearby, excellent full breakfast. Staff was helpful and friendly. If you want luxury, this is not for you. If you want a well-managed and pleasant place to stay, this is it. I would return anytime.

The hotel was booked on my behalf for a work conference. The main reason was because it has parking and we were travelling down by car. Location and parking facilities were fine, however that is about it for the positives. While the welcome was warm from the receptionist the room was not good. Broken picture frames, a tap that was not fixed (so when you turned it on it spun round) the bath didn’t drain, the stain on the carpet was enormously worrying, the lift needed servicing (that amount of clunking as you went in it was unnerving). If you opted for the shower rather than the bath the water pressure was so low it didn’t come out far enough to actually get wet. Breakfast was ok, there were a few ‘characters’ milling round, which based on some other reviews on here… could mean they were some long term guests, especially the woman who came twice to the breakfast buffet and filled plates to take away. We wouldn’t stay here again, it was grim, really needs a good clean.
