I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough, exceptional clean rooms and customer service, fantastic breakfast included, great location near to some of London’s best restaurants, located with easy access to Camden and 10 min in taxi from Euston Stationwill definitely visit again Steve Bell
We went to this hotel for a weekend and we visited the area of Hampstead which is quite pleasant even though it's in a hill and so there are some ascents. The breakfast is included and it was a good start of the day. It was an hot breakfast even though not exceptional. The room was comfortable and quite quiet for a nice sleep.
My wife and I stayed here in mid October, it was my birthday treat and she had booked it because it was close to Camden, where we had tickets to an event that evening. We arrived at the hotel about 3pm and were greeted by a friendly receptionist who gave us our room keys and sent us up to our room. On initial inspection the room looked lovely and was situated at the back of the hotel away from the busy main road. At 5pm it was time to get ready to go out so I got in the shower. After a few minutes of fiddling with the shower it became clear there was no hot water. We packed up our stuff and headed down the reception expecting to be given another room, but instead we were informed by a different receptionist that there was no hot water as it was supposed to be fixed by 4pm but was still not ready. We therefore had to go out without showers feeling quite dirty and sweaty from our travels to get to London. We returned to the hotel at about 10pm and decided to watch TV. The TV worked well and had all the freebies channels. In the morning we realised that there was no extractor fan in the bathroom, therefore you had to smell what your other half had for dinner the night before and it just wouldn’t go away. There was now hot water so I had a shower. The shower was poor quality, there was barely any water coming out of it. Also the sink had a stinky ping coming from the plug hole so when cleaning your teeth it was like smelling a sewer. Breakfast was pretty good. It was buffet style with synthetic sausages, nice bacon, mushrooms, baked beans, hash browns, tomatoes and scrabbled eggs. There was a cereal option, a small amount of fruit, yogurt, and I think there was some continental style ham. You have to ask for toast. There’s a nice selection of teas and coffees, water, orange and apple juice.…
I had to stay in Hampstead to visit my brother in hospital. Travelled down from Glasgow and was very impressed with all aspects of this hotel. Clean, comfortable and very friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was superb and I was well looked after by kitchen staff. Wouldn't hesitate in returning or recommending it to Tripadvisor readers.
Staff were very helpful and did their best to deal with our queries immediately. The hotel is ideally suited for getting around London and is fairly quiet.Breakfast service is run efficiently though there could be a greater choice available. Toiletries provided very basic and issues like this prevents the hotel being placed in the excellent category.
