I won't lie there are a lot of good similarities between holiday inn branches I just wanted to write one extra review because I happened to stay here this week which is a hectic time for them and came across some disturbing gaps in customer service. I have used this hotel for accommodation so far 3 times within one year...

I booked this hotel as a last minute overnight stay via Super breaks. It was a secret room deal so didn't know which hotel I booked until I'd paid for it. Because of this we got a great deal for central London, especially as it was the first day of Wimbledon! It was easy to find, we walked from Euston,...

Comfortable and professional, as Holiday Inns always seem to be; perhaps not just as pleasant as its sister hotel in Bloomsbury, but there is not much in it. Room was a bit small and the bathroom, although clean, could perhaps do with an update, but would be very happy to stay there again.

Upon entering the room, we realized that it was quite freezing as the main heater was off. we called the reception and sent someone to open it, they also brought us an extra small radiator. The washbasin could not absorb the water very good and often we had very small "lakes" of water as you can see in the attached...

Excellent venue for conferences/seminars etc. Good before the conference tea/coffee biscuits, croissants. Lunch time menu OK as well. Conference pleasant. Easy to get to and the area is very pleasant for after conference restaurants and pleasant walks around the area for tourists and overseas visitors to the conference.

Lovely hotel with spacious rooms and luxurious showers. Appearance from the outside looked very old fashioned and dreary however the reception was pleasant. Restaurant was nice as we booked in for the morning breakfast which was a buffet with a huge selection. Contrary to other reviews I didn't feel that this hotel was very close to the Central London attractions...

Location: 2-3 minute walk from gt Portland St tube and about 5 mins from Oxford circus and regents park tube. Really handy for shoppers and theatre goers. Don't let the outside of the hotel put you off, it is much nicer inside. Checkin: quick and effecient. Lovely friendly staff. Room: on the 6th floor fairly quiet for a city hotel....

Have stayed at this Holiday Inn many times. The staff on reception and at breakfast always try their best to make guests welcome. The concierge also does a good job. Rooms are generally clean and fairly smart. Some bathrooms are a bit small. Breakfast buffet is reasonable but not top class. Coffee is very variable. Bar food never quite hits...
