Loved the character of the hotel and the excellent service. Room was small but more than adequate for one person. Windows opened so I got to breathe fresh cool air all night. Very close to amenities to walk around. Peaceful location.

We stayed three nights at the Grange Rochester in early July 2016. It's a nice hotel for the price we paid although like all UK hotels at this price, the rooms are somewhat small....but comfortable! However if you're looking for a hotel with Air Conditioning this isn't the place for you. The weather while we were in London wasn't overly... More

The staff here are lovely and genuinely offer a warm welcome. Due to room changes we experienced both the songle room and executive twin suite with double balcony looking over cricket field. Comfy beds and a good power in showers. We were generously given complementary breakfast as well as the room updagrade. To be honest, I don't think the breakfast... More

Stayed here for one evening as I had a meeting locally. It was an easy place to find. There is no allocated parking for cars. So I used a Q park within a day min walk which costs £39 for 24 hours. You can pay to park for a max of 4 hours just behind the hotel. First impressions were... More

Warm welcome and lovely staff but a high tariff for a room in need of TLC, without A/C and with the smallest bathroom I've ever encountered - not what I've come to expect from the Grange group - and unfortunately I have future reservations at this hotel - will re-review (hopefully more favourably) later in the month ...

This was our last hotel on a 10 day trip through England. I called the night before to ensure everything would be organized upon arrival as we were arriving late at night and would like checkin to be as easy as possible. One of the front desk staff has been quite condescending and appears annoyed by any request. When my... More

My husband and I enjoyed four nights at this lovely hotel. Our room was on the 5th floor requiring walking up one flight of stairs, but this posed no problem. The room was small but perfectly comfortable and very clean. The bathroom was ample and also immaculate. I often do not sleep well, but the bed was very comfortable and... More

Just spent 5 nights here. Room very small and there was no fridge which was a bother as I am allergic to milk and needed somewhere to keep the soy milk cool:( Despite this minor issue, this hotel is in a wonderful location, very close to Westminster Cathedral, and is extremely quiet. Helpful staff too - highly recommended.

Location was excellent. Hotel was clean, quiet and a perfect place to return to after a long day of sightseeing. The bar was a cozy spot to have a glass of wine or drink after dinner in the evenings. Service was good and the room was a good value for the price. Overall, I would consider returning in the future.

We stayed here for 5 days. The first night there was a party upstairs so we got no sleep. We had people calling our room and knocking at the door. We asked to be moved so the from this room on the courtyard. The said they would move us to the park side. The actually moved us to the street.... More

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
