Hotel's Favorite
So we have just returned from a weekend stay (8-10th)at this hotel On the whole the trip was lovely and the hotel fantastic. The only negative I have to say is the difficulty we had prior to our stay regarding communicating the needs of one of the children who has celiacs. Two day prior to coming we had both emailed and phoned the hotel ( on the phone over 30 mins and put through to serval people as no one seemed to know who should be dealing with our request) to inform them that one of the children had celiacs ( very serious reaction to gluten) after being put through to five different people , we were assured that it was documented in the booking notes and that the chef had been emailed. we expressed the importance of her food needing to be cooked separately as failing to do so could lead to hospitalisation of the child. On arriving to the hotel we were greeted by a lady who was lovely and polite and made a fuss of the children. However there was no record of conversation regarding the dietary needs on the booking form. The lady also didn’t know if the chef had been made aware. To be fair this was sorted pretty quickly and the chef phoned directly and reassured us her food would be prepared separately for breakfast for the child and even agreed to sort out gluten free sausages as that’s all she wanted and liked. It was resolved at the hotel quickly however a little frustrated that we had already given all this information two days prior and nobody documented or communicated same. This made check in and the star to our trip a little stressful and could have been avoided. From then on our experience was fantastic. The staff were really lovely and went above and beyond. Especially the concierge who was friendly, informed the children of activities and offered assistants when required. Helped with our bags and went above and beyond. Also the chef and the kitchen staff once they were aware of the dietary needs they were more than happy to follow instructions and ensure we all had a lovely stress free breakfast. They even made my niece a gluten free lemon drizzle cake which she said was yummy. The rooms were very clean and had everything you need. The room Was a little hot but we were fine with the window open AC didn’t appear to be working even with window shut but like I said we were fine. Bar staff and restaurant staff were lovely and polite. The hotel it’s self was situated near to the underground and Victoria street. Perfect if your going to see wicked as we were as in the same road as the theatre. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants close by and not overly priced. Close enough to walk to all the famous attractions like the place. St James park. My family joined us on the Saturday however hadn’t booked into the hotel and had booked an apartment close by. On arriving to their accommodation they found it to be dirty and not in a very nice area of London. Nothing like what was advertised in the pictures. They phoned me in a panic as felt unable/unsafe to stay their. I spoke to the hotel and they was able to provide them with two double rooms straight away. All in all a lovely experience and will be returning very soon. As will all the party (11 in total) will be. Just an easier process to communicate special or dietary needs required.

This hotel is extremely nice. The reception staff are welcoming and helpful. The rooms are large for a European hotel room and very modern with technical lighting etc. The beds were comfortable. There was a little noise from other doors closing but nothing too bad.

The Victoria Park Plaza has been our home away from home on many occasions, simply because it is so lovely we do not wish to go anywhere else. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean and most importantly, Comfortable. The staff are always a pleasure to meet and speak with, and nothing is too much trouble. This evening we decided to have a leisurely dinner at Vics bar, and we were delighted by the range of foods available for both vegetarian and carnivores alike! The wine list has a good range, including a very nice Chardonnay, as well as mocktails for those who want an alcohol free evening. Mathe was our waiter for the evening, and once again nothing was too much trouble, despite only being in his role here for 6 weeks! He was friendly, engaging, and interesting to speak too, he was informative about the wines available, and knowledgable about the menu! He is an absolute asset to the Park Plaza and Vics bar team I very much hope we get to meet him again.

On the sad occasion of the Queens passing I was going through all my memoirbilla and came across a business card I though I had lost. My family and I stayed at the Park Plaza back in June. Tony was amazing. We had ordered the biggest hamper from F&M. Tony arranged for the entire hamper and accompanying boxes to be repacked, it was stored and re-stored (post event) in the executive lounge. His kind, courteous and exemplary customer service has to be commended, which is sadly very rare nowadays. A huge thanks Tony for making our stay so special. An absolute Star ⭐️

Ideally located near Victoria stations and easy walking distance to Buckingham Palace/ Westminster areas and beyond. Room was excellent with separate living room with sofa bed for daughter plus large bedroom for us. Beds very comfortable for a good night's sleep and little noise from other rooms and guests.Bathroom well equipped with bath/shower and walk in shower. Staff very friendly and helpful especially with underground car parking - car in a lift was a first for us! Would definately book hotel again for future visits.

Welcoming staff, clean spacious and well equipped room and a delicious breakfast at the start of a busy day when we had only a short walk to the sights of London and for my husband to watch cricket at the Oval. We would highly recommend. Concierge particularly helpful with our bags which we wanted to leave and collect later.

A friend and I stayed at the Park Plaza Victoria with our two daughters. We had two adjoining rooms which were extremely comfortable and clean (even if the furniture was a little dated). The breakfast was delicious (especially the sausages) and every staff member we encountered was pleasant and friendly.

Victoria is a very convenient area of London. Located between Buckingham and Westminster, you will find all facilities to head anywhere in the City center. So that's a Perfect location for this modern business hotel. But the most significant point is, The bar where Mathe and Christina, the awesome Barmaid, will treat you as the new King! Run there and spend your time!
