Great hotel in a great location. Close to underground and many food places. Very quiet and clean hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Let us leave our bags and collect then later in the evening after we had checked out. The beds were comfy and the shower and bathroom were of good quality. Also had a nice continental breakfast....

We must be from another planet!! We found the hotel to be really good and will definitely stay there again. The room was spotless, having a groupon deal was a bonus, prices great for a hotel in Kensington. Received a nice bottle of wine, As it says on the tin, definitely only a few mins walk to tube station. The...

I'll start with the positive. This hotel had a great staff and were friendly and helpful. The hotel is also in a great location, with very close access to the Tube, restaurants, pubs and groceries. Now to the bad. The room that we had was not particularly clean, especially in the bathroom. The shower area was rusted, the door was...

Dear Guest, I am so sorry, really I am. If there is one thing I care about the most is cleanliness. There may be not much we can do about other stuff, but surely this is one area that we can be good at. I promise you that our housekeeping department works really hard. The "rust" around the shower tray...

We stayed for 2 nights just before Christmas as we were attending a concert at the Albert Hall, going to the Kensington museums and a theater performance near Covent Garden. The proximity to the first two venues on foot as well as the Gloucester Road tube about 3 minutes away taking you directly on the Piccadilly line to theatreland meant...

I decided to book this hotel due to the good reviews it received, looking back I wish I had read the bad reviews. My mum and I stayed for 5 nights. The first night wasn't very pleasant, we barely got sleep due to all the noises from the toilet facilities and air conditioning from the adjacent rooms. The bathroom was...

Dear Guest, thank you very much for taking the time to leave these feedbacks. I am sorry we could not meet your expectations. Choosing a mattress is such a personal thing. Some people like it quite firm, other prefer it soft. When we bought ours, we went in the middle well knowing that, yes here it comes, and unfortunately "we...

Pros: > Good location (right near Gloucester road tube station, near science museum and natural history museum as well as plenty of restaurants) > Quiet, safe location > Modern, very clean rooms and bathroom > Good breakfast choice > Friendly, efficient hotel staff Cons > The room was tiny, and the bathroom shower in particular was minute. Dear Guest, thank you very much for your valuable comments which gave me food for thought. On Sundays and Bank Holidays the breakfast is served between 08:00 and 10:00; perhaps we could stretch it half an hour....Best regards. Ferdinand. GM

Had a 4 night stay in a 3 pax room. It was comfortable. Breakfast is decent. Hotel service is quite impressive. We were allowed to check in despite reaching there in the early morning. Surrounding is convenient and pleasant. Food and tube station is a short walk. Recommended.

Stayed in a triple room recently.Room was very average. The most annoying thing was that the bedside lights could not be put off without switching the main light!! It meant that the whole purpose of having a bed lamp was moot. It would not come on unless the big light on the mirror was switched on! It also meant that...

Dear Guest, I can only apologize, having a good night sleep is a must when staying at a Hotel. I just cannot figure out where that noise you heard could possibly come from. Cannot be the boiler, we only have one that servers all the rooms and it is located in the basement, far away from any room. I wonder...

This hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to the museums, Harrods and Hyde park. Hotel staff were very pleasant and very accommodating. Dear Guest, thank you so much for staying with us and for your comments. High chairs for children is the next thing we are going to buy. Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
