While being a budget hostel, the facilites are sufficient and everything is clean. Toilets and showers are old, but perfectly functional. The 18 bed dorm is accessed from outside the main building and is used only for sleeping. The upside of this is that anyone hanging around the hostel will be in the communal area which is within the pub...

My friend and I originally booked for two nights and extended a third night. It may not be the newest hostel around, but it had a great atmosphere and the staff were really friendly ... And it was incredibly cheap/ great value for London! I would come back.

To make clear at the beginning: This is not a five star hotel. And for 10£ a night I did not expect one. You get a bed to sleep at night, good bus and underground connections, and you can come and go 24/7. Nice extras are the extra well heated bathroom and the pub. Moreover, the people are really friendly....

The rooms are pretty cramped and the beds a bit springy, but everyone I was in a room with was quiet and respectful, even in a 18 bed dorm. The common room is nice and spacious, but can get very loud at night because it's also a bar and people get drunk and rowdy. The wifi doesn't work in the...

Never been at a hotel were my views on different things have been so drasticly different. So here goes The bar and social area is fantastic, with cheap drinks (for London anyway) available and keeping it the social area open 24 hours is handy. The breakfast is also good value. The staff were very friendly and helpful during my stay...

Cleaner than other hostels I've stayed at. Lots of plugs in the wall and great value for money. WiFi was fast and reliable which made me very happy. Mattresses were nice and soft too which makes a nice change from the brutal caress of sharp steel springs I normally get at The Great Eastern in Island Gardens. I slept very...

77% I ve stayed at 16 bed room. Not so good choice. Better to be in room for less people. Service and owner are great. Amazing breakfast for 2 pounds. Good location. Good choice for that money. International mood.

Not sure how this place has such a great rating. Booked in for 6 nights and left after 3 in disgust. I've stayed at hostels across USA, Asia, Australia and Europe and this is the worst experience I've had yet. The rooms are small, dark and smelly. The bunk beds creak to high-heaven and it is almost impossible to get...

The hostel is old and smelly. The 18-Person room is very small and there is no fresh air. It was really not a great experience. The bathrooms, which are used by everybody, seem clean and smell ok, but everything is very old and used and there was also black spots.
