My Mum and I visited the Grosvenor for the Victorian Afternoon Tea package. It was a lovely experience. The staff were friendly, attentive without being overbearing and happy to replenish items throughout. Clearly, if you can make it through the generous helpings of cakes, scones and sandwiches, they are happy to offer replenishments. We chose not to, but it was... More

Room was booked at very late notice due to trip over-running. Staff were very accommodating and helpful upon check-in. My room was very well appointed with excellent facilities including an espresso machine, air conditioning, great TV service and adequate wifi. Big comfy beds and fantastic bathrooms. We didn't have a chance to sample the hotels restaurant although the cocktail bar... More

Stayed here for one night on our way back to the US traveling from Ireland. Picked the Grosvenor based on its location. Entrance to hotel from Victoria station. Hotel is very nice but would be hard to navigate for folks in a wheel chair. Clearly, several buildings were put together here. Only complaint was the road construction noise continued late... More

Our stay at the Grosvenor left something to be desired. The first room we were given was not clean and the furniture looked well worn. After complaining about the state of the room, we were offered another one which looked better; however, we discovered late in the evening that the AC was broken. After asking for assistance with the problem... More

We had several drinks of all types throughout our meeting this afternoon, from nice coffees, and water served with ice and lemon, and later a delicious crisp refreshing glass of Sauvignon Blanc for a treat after all of our hard work. Service was 'there' but not in the way. The toilets Really stink though, pee you! Maybe as it is... More

My husband and I traveled to London for the first time and chose the Grosvenor for our 5 night stay. The location of this hotel is fantastic! It is right above Victoria Station making traveling a breeze! We came right from the airport (Gatwick) via train to our hotel. It is also very close to Buckingham Palace and other attractions... Once again had a wonderful two night stay in my favourite hotel in London. Location is excellent. Service superb. Rooms are so comfortable and would definitely recommend booking an executive room. Thank you The Grosvenor for making my stay in London so enjoyable.

When you book Grosvenor Hotel, you expect a touch of luxury. I was not disappointed. The location is perfect, just off Victoria Station. It is on the busy street but we could not hear any noise in our room on the third floor. The massive Victorian entrance hall/reception area is very impressive - it has high ceiling, grand staircases, magnificent... More

My husband and I enjoyed a ten day stay in Grosvenor in 2015. Its cleanliness, elegant rooms and location made our trip to London easy and smooth. The breakfast is elegant and meets different tastes. The staff are highly professional and helpful. My husband is a jazz lover and with the great help of the hotel concierge we ended up... More

Our stay on 22nd July was part of a package arranged by Travelzoo including a performance of "Beautiful" at The Aldwych. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered a wide choice, and the room and bed were very good.

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
