Three or was it four staff not that busy. We had to ask at bar for menus after sitting for 10 mins - we waited again another 10 mins then had to call over same waiter to be asked what we would like to drink. No nibbles offered, no stirrer for gin & tonic. Average service really or mildly awake...

I booked The Grosvenor Hotel as a surprise for my partners birthday and we had the most wonderful experience. When we first arrived we were greeted by a very kind lady who informed us that we had been upgraded to a deluxe double room and although we were early, the room was all ready and waiting for us. The room...

I stayed for one night at this hotel because I happened to find a very good deal on a website at £215 B and B for an executive room. I am sure the regular price is far higher. That's why I say I was lucky, though that does not detract from the quality of the product. I am usually suspicious...

Very nice Hotel. The staff and amenities are top notch. The Hotel Sits on top of Victoria Station which gives easy access to Trains, buses, and the Underground(Subway). The restaurant served an excellent buffet in the morning as well as a traditional British Afternoon tea.

The hotel is conveniently located by Victoria station - servicing both the National Rail and the Underground. There is also a bus stop right in front of the hotel, as well as a stop for "Hop-On, Hop-Off Tour" buses. Transportation is a breeze from this hotel. As for the hotel itself - the staff is pleasant and helpful, and the...

Just back from a wonderful stay at The Grosvenor. Super location beside Victoria station and walking distance to lots of attractions. Staff were lovely and very hard working. Would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again next time in London. We travelled from Gatwick so it could not be handier.

It was a wonderful time and stay. Staff were very helpful and polite. Victorian style rooms very nice. Not a lot of closet space but is expected in an Victorian hotel. Very easy access to the Victorian train station just out the back door which made it that much more pleasant. Restaurant food and service were very good.

This is lovely, grand old hotel, architecturally. But what in fact makes it so good is the courtesy, kindness, professionalism & helpfulness of the staff. Flawless - and first class. I've stayed in hotels all over the world. This place is right up there with the best....

This hotel is in a fantastic location and the interior is beautiful. I held a Baby Shower in the lounge and was impressed at how they decorated the area and made my guests feel welcome. The tea was delicious, plentiful and well presented. The champagne was rather nice also! Our server, Anais, was delightful and I will be recommending this...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
