When we arrived from a business trip in Paris (where we were shocked at the small rooms & large price) we were relieved we had booked a hotel of quality for two nights. However on arrival the lovely reception staff offered us an upgrade for £20 per night as the standard double was 'a little small for the two of...

From the lobby entrance, the 1st level veranda, restaurants, quite setting areas, corridors, fresh and planted floral arrangements and the public restrooms... every area this well appointed and grand!! Your hotel staff are the best!! Always helpful and professional while wearing a smile. Conveniently, located in central London. Within walking distance to some of the most important monuments in London....

For our overnight stay the grosvenor hotel was practical due to its direct access to the Victoria station, however very noisy and unfriendly housekeeping staff. Will be useful to not see the trace of the person who occupied the room before

Hotel is overall very good. Staff are helpful and friendly and service is of a high quality. Breakfast is very good. The gym has a reasonable range of equipment though I have seen better. I have stayed here a few times on business and my only criticism is the variance in the rooms. Some rooms are huge and some room...

Overall, this hotel was gorgeous and clean. The second you walk in you are blasted with the most amazing smells. It's only a short 10 min walk to Buckingham Palace and a 1-2 min walk to the Tube and Victoria Station. Our room was spacious. The shower was interesting. It was only was covered half way with glass and it...

As a belated valentines present my husband took me to the Grosvenor to enjoy afternoon tea and enjoy it we did. We were seated in high winged chairs looking out to the main road beyond and enjoyed our tea in the lounge. The service was excellent as you would expect in an establishment such as this, the ambiance was just...

My partner, daughter and myself all stayed at The Grosvenor from 17th - 20th February as we were in London to see Harry Potter and the cursed child for my daughters birthday. Although the actual hotel is absolutely beautiful we were rather disappointed in the service we received. We arrived around lunch time on the 17th to be told the...

Location - If you want a centrally located hotel, this place is for you. Victoria station is connected to this hotel and you can get anywhere in the city using the underground (tube) or walking over to the Victoria Coach station (different place, similar name; I know confusing). Service - We had an issue with our room where we could...

Stayed for one night. The room was really small. The cupboard was especially tiny with no room to hang anything because they keep the ironing board in there. The place does not feel very fresh with several walls dirty. Very nice gym, wish it opened before 6am. There is no one in attendance so its unclear why it closes overnight.

Dear Reviewer, Thanks for your post. Due to the age of the building, our rooms comprise different shapes and sizes and I regret your allocated room did not suit your needs. Should you decide to give us another try, our Guest Relations team would be delighted to look after you. Kind regards, Billy

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
