Just returned from a three night break in London. Had a great time and the hotel was lovely. Couple of niggles were that they do not offer a childrens menu in the bar/restaurant so regardless what age your child is they choose off the main menu and receive the same sized portion. There is no option for a smaller portion.... More

Having wanted to stay at the Grosvenor for 35 years I finally made it this weekend for my mother in law's 70th birthday celebration. The hotel is beautiful with a stunning chandelier and sweeping staircase in the lobby. We had 2 double rooms in the wing on the 7th floor which were adequate although very small. It was a bit... My sister and I stayed here at the end of July. It is simply beautiful, Our room was very well appointed. Lots of room for us to stretch out with the twin beds, sofa, closet, and huge bathroom. We were in a twin deluxe fairly close to the elevators. I can not complain about the room. We did seem to... More

My first time in London, so of course I had to experience the Afternoon Tea tradition. This hotel gave me the best Afternoon Tea experience. Mohammad was our waitress and he absolutely made everything much more pleasant. He made sure we always had enough tea and brought us out more of our favorite selections! Hands down the best place for... More

Two of us had afternoon tea here, midweek in the lounge. Fantastic building in a great location. Staff were very attentive. Sandwiches, scones, cakes and champagne made our afternoon complete. We arrived early but didn't have to wait too long for our table. Ask for a table in the window. Booked with a "wowcher voucher" which made it fantastic value. Didn't... More

A lovely hotel with a great service. And high finish but it was tiny, stayed in double deluxe rooms and as 6ft 2in person I couldn't fit in anything. Bathroom really nice but too small. Facilities and services were numerous and brilliant.

Stayed here for 1 night whilst celebrating my partner's birthday. There's one thing that should always raise an alarm with a traveler, and that it, when the Receptionist says to you that they're going to give you a great room. In my experience, this means that they are going to test you to see if you'll put up with whatever... More

Began a tour around Britain from this hotel and was very disappointed by the room size, lifts that did not work, showers over bath that meant water went every where. There was no air conditioning in the rooms and with hot weather in London, things were very stuffy in a shoebox room. We had intended to return to the Grosvenor... More

Stayed 3 nights with two children, nice room and hotel overall. Staff were accommodating. Hotel is well placed next to victoria underground to get about easily to all main attractions. Breakfast was good but had one evening meal in Grosvenor Arms which was disappointing. Also at time of stay only one lift was working in reception which meant lots of... More

Would just like to show my appreciation to the staff at this beautiful hotel who put every effort in to making our weekend break as brilliant as it was. The location is perfect for exploring with Victoria tube literally next door. Firstly we stayed here for our daughters 5th birthday where she was given a beautiful gift from the hotel... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
