Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.

This beautiful building is immaculate. The standard of service is exceptional. We used The Soak restaurant and the food was excellent, with staff very friendly and helpful. Room superb. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

4th time staying here. Hotels would do well to think of practicality from the guest point of view when ‘refurbishing’. Deluxe twin room: Good size. Had a very decent iron and ironing board. All electricity controlled by room key card. This means the heat goes off as well when you leave. Bathroom has no soap dish. Heated towel rack is a nice idea if it is configured to hold super-sized towels. Not so. No way to easily hang up your damp towel. Typical shower is the euro bath—deep tub. Great care has to be used getting in and out. Partial shower glass panel not snugged up to wall and water gets all over the floor. Heated bathroom floor never worked. The hotel puts oversized, heavy glasses in the all tile/stone bathroom. Not the best idea. There was only one lift working—service lift also out of order. Long waits. There is a decent breakfast room for hotel guests but it was very cold in there. A typical December cold, cold morning. The adjacent, nice, warm room was for people coming in off the street to have breakfast. What’s wrong here? The Soak bar is extremely noisy, dark, stark. Not cozy. The Reunion bar needs more comfortable chairs, the heat turned on and a coffee machine. December-Winter in London demands Irish and other coffees! The Reunion bar cannot make Irish coffee—no machine. The Soak bar made the coffee with ice cold whipped cream—cooled off the drink in 1 minute. Sugar ‘cubes’ served in a dish without tongs—everyones’ fingers in it. Yuck. Concierge staff are very helpful as are the desk folks. Not their fault there are 2 software programs—food and room charges— that don’t talk with each other. So look carefully at your bill. It’s an adventure to sort it out. Get a room in the main section above floor 3. More quiet.

Hotel charged twice for the booking! Be careful if you have a prepaid reservation!!!Hotel however is in a central location. Rooms were clean and service overall was good. I am not sure if I will reccomend this hotel for future stays.

We stay in small room. It was very small but it worked for us because we would be out and about all day. The bed was comfy and our room stayed very warm. The best part of our stay was the staff everytime we needed any help, they were there. Like helping with phone calls, to getting a taxi for you. They had a lot of info and maps too.
