Stayed here for one night in a triple room, as I took two friends from Australia, a really good location, handy for tube station. The room was clean but pretty basic, bathroom and toilet were separate but also nice and clean. Breakfast was nothing flash mainly toast and rolls, you had to pay extra for a full English. Would stay... More

Great location. Cheap and cheerful as it is student and group central. Can be loud and there are no fans or ac so windows open are a must. Breakfast was decent as we had the full English. It's a great place for family to keep within a budget but as a couple splurge and go somewhere better.

Having stayed at this hotel half a dozen times with the family because of its situation I really don't know if we would stay again. The room we were given overlooked the entrance where there is a bar and coaches arriving. We asked to move and the staff were really kind but to reach our next room we had to... More

We visited the Royal National Hotel in April and we stayed there for 4 nights. We booked directly with the hotel for a full English breakfast. The checking in process is rather lengthy because there are large groups checking in almost at all times. So it was rather chaotic. However we were happy with the room given. It was clean... More

For a hotel, at a hotel price (as opposed to, say, a hostel), it was lacking many standard amenities. No safe in the rooms. No business center (must walk 3 blocks to an internet cafe if you need to print a boarding ticket). No air conditioning in the room, or even any sort of air circulation - you must keep... More

This was not the most luxurious of hotels, but it was clean (daily) and was situated in a central location, within 5 minutes walk of Russell Square tube station and Euston Station and within 15 minutes walk of Covent Garden and Oxford Street. The breakfast was lovely and there were plenty of lifts. Would recommend to anyone.

Stayed here for a theatre trip. Really pleased that we could walk to theatre from the hotel. The hotel is large and fairly basic but perfectly acceptable. The evening meal was included in the price but it was nothing special. The breakfast was a bit frantic but a pretty good choice - cereals, fruit, toast, unlimited drinks, porridge and a... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. Man on reception when we arrived was helpful and friendly enough and we could get our room earlier than expected. Didn't sleep great on the first night due to having the window open as was a warm night and noise from the traffic and also people outside. Basic breakfast of toast, cereal, bread rolls and... More

I have stayed in this hotel 3 times now and would definitely be returning in the future. Rooms are basic, but importantly clean and serviced daily. The breakfast had a good selection and was upgraded to use the meeting room restaurant, which wasn't so busy as the other breakfast room. Food is good and has a nice selection. The only... More

This is a big family run hotel w two blocks located on a hotels area. Not impressed by their front desk staff, don't expect you can get a warm welcome. Hotel building is big n interior is like a maze so we take some time to find our room by referring to a map post on the wall at the... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
