Neighborhood
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.

Since 2012 it is my favorite hotel in London, its location is very appreciated by me and just for that I will never change if I will be back in London. Located near to two underground stations Bayswater & Queensway I do not recommend single rooms it was a bad experience for me, its rooms are too small maybe other people will find them better. I asked to be relocated to another room the second night I paid a difference of £ 20 I got my room which I usually book I was in heaven and slept well. I have never had breakfast I find 17 pounds a bit pricey, but I thank the hotel for giving us coffee, tea and cakes, maybe next time I will have breakfast just for testing. Since I changed my room three times I lost in the meantime my little bowl of fruit that was offered by the hotel but I got my chocolates my bottles of water, I thank the hotel for this gesture much appreciated. congratulations to all the hotel staff especially Anifa at the reception who promised me that next time if I book again I will have a nice surprise. Special thanks to Mr Ankur.S who helped me during my stay in london see you soon

I appreciate this establishment has many positive reviews, however i can only rate average at best. We arrived early and did a preliminary check and the hotel kindly stored our bags, When we arrived to claim our rooms, I'm afraid the male receptionist was abrupt and curt and chose to take a phone call when dealing with me and became a little annoyed when i couldn't understand his pointing and nudges whilst i was trying to complete the paperwork whilst he was chatting on the phone. On first glance the public areas looked elegant but were actually in need of a good clean the bar area in particular. Sadly the bedrooms were worse. Upon opening the door there were three steps down to the room a potential hazard without out any warning notices. The room was exceptionally small even for London standards, the carpets were in place threadbare or badly joined, the mattress topper lumpy and uncomfortable and the quilt far too small for the bed. The one saving grace was that the hotel was close to tube stations but other than that it has little to recommend it,

I can not recommend this hotel enough. Absolutely beautiful building and extremely pleasant and helpful staff. I had booked the hotel a couple of months ago, so friends and I could go to the proms in the park. The location is perfect from the underground and within good walking distance of the park. We arrived early and we were told by the friendly member of staff - wish I had taken her name as she was very good - that we had been upgraded to the best room in the hotel. And as the room was prepared we could go straight in. It was such a wonderful surprise as we don't get together too often and it really made our day. The room was huge, had a stunning four poster bed with a single made up next to it. The bathroom was something else! Huge bath, rain shower with twin sinks. All in black and white tiling. Extras provided, robes and Slippers, two bottles of red wine, two platters of fruit, chocolates, bottled water, bottled coke, tea making facilities and biscuits. Check out time was 12pm which was excellent. We have had a wonderful weekend made all the better for staying here. Highly recommend and we will be staying again!

Great location if you are in London. Located near to two underground stations. Also walking distance from bus stops to everywhere you will need to visit. Good food places everywhere within wAlking distance. On the Hotel alone seriously great staff , front desk and all. Generally everything was taken care off during our 7 nights stay. The entrance could improve with some more lighting at night. As the main doorway not brightly lit. Everyone was splendid in their service. Need to highlight two staff in particular Stefan& Anifa who were very helpful during check in & check out.
