Stayed here for a weekend while visiting the city. The hotel is ideally located as it is 200m from the British museum! Close to the animated parts of town yet in a very calm street. The rooms are quite spacious especially for a Londonian hotel and very calm. On the downside I do not recommend asking the staff on tips... More

Great location: 10min walk from Euston station, 15min from Covent Garden. The hotel is clean but looks out-of-date and could clearly do with a refurbishment: the corridor lighting was on its last leg, the carpet in the room was undulated and the bathroom was really old fashioned. The double beds are so small that you better be in really good... More

The hotel was booked by a company I was working for. Why they thought it was good value at £150 a night is beyond me. The hotel is stuffy and hot, especially the bedroom they put me in. The decor is looking decidely tired - one of my colleagues described it as 'lived-in'.The windows opened onto a busy street, and... More

The Grange White Hall is a small boutique hotel around the corner from the British Museum. The building is old, but everything is clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. Highlights include an antique glass elevator, huge sash windows in our room, and a lovely back garden. The continental breakfast is a bit more generous on weekdays than on weekends (when the hot... ideal location, close to the british museum. Bus stop going to oxford street next door and 5 minutes walk to the nearest tube station. after visiting crowded london, nice to be back in a quiet neighborhood. big room and bathroom. Clean if you are there in the summer ask for room facing the courtyard, as less sun shining and cooler.... More

A suite with amazing view on a peculiar garden, just window behind the British Museum. I fell in love with it! Service was great, toilet and bathroom huge and clean, room amazingly big and romantic... with garden and balcony... I wish I lived there!

I was supposedly in a superior room but could have fooled me, a tired old room right next to the night long busy lift shaft and when that wasn't running the street noise was in the other ear loud and clear. A dreadful night's sleep, won't be going back. Also, no wifi that I could detect.

I visited London a few days ago for business reasons. Grange White is located in a quiet and nice street, just behind British Museum. Access to Holborn tube station is less than 5 minutes and to Tottenham Court station 5-7 minutes. You can reach Soho area in 15 minutes on foot. Hotel personnel was quite kind and helpful in solving... More

At first glance this hotel is quite grand looking, however on closer inspection is somewhat dated and threadbare. There is no air conditioning, the hotel is onto a relatively busy road, always ask for garden view so you can open the windows. Breakfast basic but edible. Pillows could use replacement.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
