The Premier Inn London Tower Bridge hotel offers a convenient location near attractions and public transport, which is a plus for guests. However, the hotel's atmosphere is a blend of welcoming common areas and rooms that some find outdated. While the amenities, including breakfast, are generally appreciated, issues with Wi-Fi and restaurant services have been noted.
Guests have called out the hotel for being overpriced, citing additional fees and a questionable value proposition. Mixed reviews on service quality and room cleanliness, along with noise disturbances, suggest a varied experience for travelers.

The staff is absolutely incredible. Amazing attitude and service. However, if you need WiFi this is not the hotel for you. They have a free and a paid service and neither really work. I stayed for 12 nights and had connection probably two days at most. Cleaning is also an area of opportunity. Even though the room was nice and comfortable, you need to ask them to clean the room, which I’m totally fine with. More often than not, when I did asked for my room to be cleaned, they wouldn’t change the glassware or empty the bins, even if I specifically asked for it. I stayed in a premium room, the blackout was perfect and you couldn’t really listen to anything. Amazing night sleep.

We thought it was a great hotel clean (except for a stain on the carpet, not disturbing ) Nice staff ,delicious breakfast (English), could leave our suitcase ,because we were too early ,pick it up later and also leave the last day suitcase to do something (we had a late flight ) . Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Quiet room despite it being quite crowded in the hotel and we slept on the 4 floor. Change towels then just report and then they were hung clean , rooms were not cleaned by default only on request, we found that separate , but otherwise no attention paid to.

The hotel is filthy, tired, old and noisy- see our pics attached if you are considering staying here due to price- just dont....
The walls- are filthy and need painting badly
The bedroom door in our room- is not hung properly- so rattles loudly literally every time someone opened a door/ emergency door- therefore when people come in and out of rooms- you will wake up
We asked to change rooms after day 1- they refused and said we are fully booked
The taps, bathroom, tiling grout- is all ready for the dump
Ceilings are literally falling apart in the bathroom
The skirting board is full of damp
The windows look like they have never ever been cleaned in the hotel
There is a mouldy smell in the rooms which is saturated by bleach in the mornings by cleaners
The cleaners however do not clean rooms unless requested- and even when so- they leave all rubbish in the room, only make the bed and leave new towels so bathrooms and room is not cleaned at all
Even the entrance to the hotel is continually left grubby and covered in leaves but outside and inside the door - surely this should be basic just to have a clean entrance
Premier Inn should be absolutely disgusted to call this a premier inn hotel- the location is the only thing for it
Clearly the hotel uses its location to profit from the location which is good- but other than that- we would never stay here again no matter how attractive the price would be given the above

Great to find a hotel rather than a 'hub'. Think Premier Inn are sacrificing their values as a good family hotel for too many Hubs. They've really pared back on things like tea, coffee, milk, housekeeping. These are all left for the guest to ask for themselves, even after requesting a room clean the floor wasn't hoovered and after asking another day it was missed. We had booked 3 triple rooms but only got 2. When we asked we were told there wasn't the staff to put the single bed/sofa thing in so we were left with one uncomfortable chair and no where to set things. No way of contacting reception if you need to. Ungraded WIFI was still very poor, self check in didn't work. Beds are still super comfy, extra pillows and things are no problem, hotel overall was very clean, lifts work, very quiet, extra security on lifts so you have to use your pass key, restaurant looked good, prices were very fair for London, Bermondsley is a great area, lovely little shops, chilled night time vibe, 2 mins to Tube and bus stops right outside.

It might not look overly impressive from the outside, and elements are starting to look a little dated, but this hotel offered a great base for a weekend stay in the city. The location is full of nice restaurants and bars, plus its an easy walk from the nearest train stations with a bus stop immediately outside.
Checking in was lovely with a really friendly member of staff. Throughout our stay there was always at least one person at reception and they gave a friendly welcome each time we arrived back and when asking for things like housekeeping always followed through on the promise.
Our room was at the far end of the corridor on the second floor which allowed for a totally peaceful sleep - no noise from adjacent rooms or even outside. It was a very large and spacious room and while the wardrobe was an open area and there was a huge number of drawers it was fine for a weekend stay. Lighting was good, TV large, but only USB-A sockets were present at one side of the bed, meaning devices had to be charged on the desk. The bed was as comfy as you’d expect from the chain but the chaise in the room was looking a bit stained. The bathroom was clean and an adequate size. Toiletries and towels were decent but the lack of an effective extractor fan meant it turned into a stream room and took most of the day to dry out.
House keeping is provided on request but was good and decent supply of instant drinks left, although there’s more available in the reception area if you want. There is a large restaurant and bar area on the ground floor which didn’t seem to attract many guests, but it looked comfortable and a nice spot if you’re not wanting to venture out.
It was a great value and comfortable stay and for the right price I’l certainly stay again!

Amazing first time trip to London and we def picked the right hotel it was wonderful, staff were extremely helpful and always greeted us with a smile they were so kind. On our first night we had a knock on the door and the lady who checked us in had bought us up a box of maltesers and a lovely card welcoming us on our first time in London, small gesture but we thought that was so wonderful. The room was spacious and bed was really comfortable, even though we were on a busy road we never heard any traffic overnight. Breakfast was lovely and the evening meals were excellent value, if you had paid for breakfast we could have a 2 course meal and drink for £16 amazing needless to say we stayed at hotel to have our evening meal all the 3 nights we were there. We would def recommend this hotel and we would love to go back one day.

We booked a Premier Plus room as we we were staying for a few days. Room was clean & tidy, & well maintained; the bathroom seemed to have been upgraded with a few refinements, like a rainfall shower. The main room had a small fridge, as well as a Nespresso machine. That aside, it’s much the same as a ‘regular’ Premier Inn room. Location wise, the hotel is literally only 5 minutes away from Tower Bridge, with the underground & railway stations a good 15 minute walk away. There is also a Wetherspoon pub near to London Bridge if you don’t fancy paying over the odds for breakfast in the hotel 😉 Booking in advance is highly recommended if you are staying for a few days in Premier Plus room. Otherwise, for 1 night you may as well stick to a standard room as you a won’t benefit from the extra perks a Premier Plus room offers..

With premier inn you always know what to expect and there is never a surprise. This hotels location was great for exploring London on a family trip being just a 10-15 minute walk from tower bridge. My only complaint would be that the room was very warm and although there was temperature control in there it kept switching off. Still we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and with cooked breakfast being such good value with the 2 children eating free as a single parent it's these little things that help 😊

I didn't fly into Stansted airport but we took an Uber from Heathrow to The Premier Inn Tower Bridge hotel. It was faster than the train, we were four, and feeling tired from the flight. I paid $80.

"Try and get a room at the back of the hotel as it will be quieter and not facing a busy road.
There is a shop over the road for any snacks, drinks etc."
