I researched a lot of hotels for our trip, we're a group of 7pax. Queens Gate are so obliging, holding our excess bags for us while on tour, beautiful rooms, excellent location, breakfast packs for our early a.m departure and help when we needed it. Well done Queens Gate. There needs to be more hotels like you guys.

Thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. Comfortable, large well appointed rooms. Easy walking distance from tube station. Good access from Heathrow. Walking distance to Hop on Hop off bus stops, also walking distance to Golden Tours if you are doing day trips. I didn't eat at the hotel while staying here. Highly recommend this hotel would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Queens Gate hotel for two nights in June. The hotel staff were very good and were helpful at all times. The location of the hotel was good. The closest tube was about a 10 minute walk and buses were an option nearby. We had a lot of cafes and restaurants within a 5 min walk which... More

Booked 2 rooms for myself husband and 2 adult sons for a weekend break. Good price and breakfast was included. Excellent location. Very close to Albert hall where we had prom tickets. Short walking distance to Harrods etc. Rooms quite small but modern. Cons: hairdryer is in bathroom - very annoying when trying to get ready. Woodwork is a bit... More

Slept really well here as its in a quiet and beautiful neighbourhood just 5 minutes walk to Kensington Gardens, Kensington Palace and Hyde Park. Wonderful soot if you like to walk or run before breakfast. Great Cafes nearby for breakfast, lunches and a small pub. All the high street shops of Kensington just 10 minutes walk away. Would definitely return... More

Booked this hotel with a family room for my sons 15th birthday. Even though there was a problem with the room we were offered two rooms instead, which worked out really well. Great location for museums, Knightsbridge shopping and car spotting.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
