Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with my husband and then 6 week old baby. Pros - lovely apartments decorated in a luxurious manner. Wifi available throughout and TVs in both bedrooms (one double, one single) and living room. Living room also had a small round dining table with 4 seats - handy as I was in London on business...

Stayed in a 1 bed apartment located on the top floor for 8 nights. Good clean accommodation with well equipped modern kitchen. The wifi worked well throughout. Negative aspects were the 5 flights of stairs (no lift) and trafic noise at night. Well located with both Chancery Lane and Russel Sqaure tube stations about a 10 min walk away

We (a couple) were in London for 12 days and needed an apartment in this particular location. Number 5 Doughty Street is a secure, sensitively restored Victorian Grade 11 listed building. The downside of this is that there is no lift, so you would need to be aware that there are flights of stairs to the upper floors. As I...

Stayed here for almost 2 weeks in a two bedroom flat was very comfortable, clean and reasonably equipped. One comment however property has installed Eco shower heads and they are very annoying, too much air is mixed with the water making it really difficult to rinse soap off especially shampoo! Other than that the place is a good option for...

PLUSES: Clean, nicely equipped, fairly good WiFi (marginal in bedroom), very nice amenity starter kit with coffee, comfortable, good location in urban residential neighborhood about 10-min walk from Covent Garden. MINUSES: No air con (I wouldn't stay in summer), street noise (old windows - too noisy outside to leave open), lousy CableTV. Overall, a nice alternative to a hotel for...

This place provides clean, neat accommodation in Bloomsbury. Well apportioned and comfortable beds. Quiet except for the pleasant birdsong in the rear garden! Thoroughly recommend this convenient spot just across the road from the Charles Dickens museum.

Great apartment. Modern, comfortable and clean, with good quality fittings. We had the top floor flat (be careful if you don't like taking a lot of stairs!) which had plenty of room. Very well positioned with good local pubs and restaurants and within easy reach of the City, West End, etc. Can be a little noisy at night but just...

I stayed here for 1 night pre exams in a single room. It was clean, modern, quiet and warm. There was a little kitchenette, study area and nice bathroom. The location was ideal, walking distance from St Pancras. The price was much less than many of the central London hotels, and the experience much more pleasant.

We had reserved for two couples asking to get two separates bedrooms as shown on their website. We got a sofa bed in the kitchen and one bedroom. No maid service to change towels once ou twice a week. We couldn't get in touch with somebody. The only positive point is the location.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
