Went to the pub for dinner on the first night - enjoyed it so much, it was the only place we went back to more than once. Once you work your way through the crowded bar, the back was pleasant, with great service and delicious food. Would highly recommend and will make sure it is on my list for the next time we head back!

Visited for supper with a friend (Jan 2023) and also for breakfast (autumn 2022). Same conclusion both times: good location right near St James tube, nice interior, friendly staff (provided a dog water bowl without asking for instance). Leaving an average review not so much because of the prices paid - circa £12 including service for scrambled eggs on toast breakfast, and £19 for burger & chips supper, but because of what we received for that price. Scrambled eggs was good quality but the portions have been shrunk way too far so was left wanting. For the burger it was also too small and a little underwhelming on the quality front to merit paying £19. It did come with a decent side of chips and garnish. Prices up and sizes down. I think this venue may be best left to tourists who don’t realise there are better options locally. As a Fullers fan this is a shame.

Wandering around Westminster we stumbled on this pub and decided to have a bite to eat. The small plates menu was excellent and the location away from the hustle/bustle of parliament/big ben. Highlight was Potted Bee/Mrs Owtens Bacon and the Haggis Scotch Egg with spiced tomato chutney!

This hotel was in a great location above a pub. The rooms were quite spacious and the beds were very comfy. We walked to all the touristy things without any issues at all! Train station was nearby as well as plenty of shops and eateries! Would recommend this hotel, value for money and location! :)

Excellent location. Closer to Westminister Abby and Trafalgar Square, London Eye. Only a few min walk to the River Thames. Lots of restaurants in the area as well as coffee shops and a pharmacy. We had a room with 2 twin beds. Very comfortable, very roomy. Great shower. Good heating or air, if you wanted. Window opens. Friendly staff at the reception. Took our bags and put them in the room for us. Breakfast is included in the restaurant downstairs. I ordered room service on a Sunday night which features a huge yorkshire pudding, roast, roasted veggies and potatoes. Delicious.

This was a nice little place to stay for a couple nights! Close to the bustle of Westminster and Windsor, but without being on a main street. The room was quite comfortable, and it was easy to both lounge and sleep in. There was a bit of noise in the morning from trucks rolling through to collect rubbish and recycling, but the nights were peaceful. The doors to the hallway aren’t the most soundproof, and the elevator is…quirky. The lobby for the hotel is one level up from ground level, but there’s NOT an ‘up’ button for the elevator here. This means if you’re checking in during a busy time, the elevator (which isn’t big) will go down by default and answer ‘up’ hails from ground level as priority. We ended up getting on the lift while someone was going down just to be in line to get two levels up; it doesn’t seem like it’d take much to make the investment to upgrade the button control system to be less frustrating to customers, but in all honesty, it’s only removing one star. But to end on a high note, the restaurant on the ground floor is FANTASTIC. The breakfast menu (included with your stay) is wonderful—small selection, but something for everyone and good portions—and the dinner menu is also very good. We had some of the best savory pies ever on our last evening in the UK.

We attended this oub during a walk around in London central when some roads were closed due to remembrance weekend and came across this pub by surprise using Google maps. Amazing beer and great food. Service was brilliant but the pub was very busy and we were lucky to even get a table

Cannot complain at all regarding the location. Cannot complain about the facilities in the room, ample tea and coffee with fresh milk, water, beer, iron and board, extra radiator and fan. Bed comfortable enough. However it is very tired on the hotel side. Bathroom shabby and paintwork needs redoing. The corridor on floor 3 smelt like a residential home. Most disappointing was actually our welcome checking in. The lady on reception never once smiled, offered any general conversation, just a perfunctory, robotic transaction which no charm. The staff in the pub however were great. Upbeat and working hard. Breakfast excellent with superb choices.

Very disappointing lunch stop in the pub. Have been coming here for years as I used to work in the office opposite. Today we waited over 45 minutes for two sandwiches though the bar was not as busy as I have previously experienced. Told two different stories as to why there was a delay and staff did not seemed concerned to make amends. Just offered a refund without grace. Also observed rude service to other diners. Will probably not return

The pub is nice, closes at 2300, and even when it was busy you couldn't hear it. The location is excellent - a minute from St James's Park Underground, a few minutes from Parliament and Westminster Abbey. The room was good but a bit tatty with lots of paper scuffs and marks. Windows need an upgrade as it is noisy in the area early with surrounding pubs all wanting to turf out their used bottles. Otherwise I would rate it Excellent
