Even taxi drivers struggle to find this venue, there is no reception, no foyer, no lobby. You just have to buzz reception, call the lift then get into the lift closing the inner doors. Your are greeted as you get out of the lift and taken to reception. Disappointed that the receptionist had to take 2 calls before being able... More

What a Gem! I have been staying at this B&B for the last 15 years when visiting the UK on my own for business and even after my daughter was born 13 years ago.. The staff are excellent and very child friendly, far better service than you find at 5-7 star hotels - nothing is too much for them to... More

I booked a single room through Late Rooms .com and was upgraded to a double which was just as well as I am not sure I would fit in to a small single. The staff were great and everything was catered for. The bed was very good and the room was clean and a bit old fashioned which is great... More

I have been fortunate to give some really good reviews of the places I have stayed until now. We booked here because of its location and previous reviews remarked on how quiet it was.. yes the room was well furnished but we had to clamber over chairs in a back entrance to get out during the day because they were... What a gem! Found this whilst looking for something a little less like all the other hotels around and was pleased with my find. A lovely quirky hotel in the middle of Knightsbridge at a reasonable cost. Tucked in a side street so very quiet there is a roof terrace where you can sit out and have breakfast in the... More

This is a very odd Hotel. But that is not a bad thing. Given its location on a hidden road in Knightsbridge, minutes from Sloane Street, it was incredibly quiet. Entry to the hotel is 'interesting' especially after a New Years Eve party. My room (9) was large with a very, very comfortable bed. Rare for central London, it was... More

Loved it! Nice room, classic style, ensuite a little old-fashioned but clean. My sort of place. Very English! Helpful staff, and I liked the roof terrace. Fascinating little hidden entrance. All rather quirky and British :)

The hotel is in a great location, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I liked the layout and quirkiness of the hotel, in particular the garden terrace, which was very tranquil for central London. The room was comfortable and a good size, I stayed in room 5, nice, molten brown toiletries provided too. Breakfast was good. All in all,... More

It's is quirk, the entrance is strange, but once inside its friendly, clean. We had a twin room that can also be a double plenty of space, easy to access the roof terrace. The room was very quiet so really good sleep quality. The continental breakfast that is delivered to your room meant we could get on with our day.... More

The hotel entrance is the lift: everything in this hotel has been squeezed to make the best use of space, and given it's in one of the most expensive parts of London, that's not a surprise. My room (12) was comfortable and clean, and the bed was great. Everything is pretty tight, but it worked. I had been upgraded from... More

Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighborhood Profile
Knightsbridge
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
