The Rhodes was a very nice hotel so close to Paddington Station (the tube and Heathrow Express). The people running it were quite nice and the breakfast was more than adequate. The but in the title comes from having no lifts. I was okay but anyone even a little out of shape or with lower body ailments needs to know...

I stayed in a double room for 2 nights in November 2016. PROS (1) Decent breakfast spread. Staff were attentive and nice. CONS (1) Annex Building is way too far from the check in counter at the main building. Imagine dragging your luggage along the outside of the building - utter nightmare. (2) The room with 2 double beds is...

We have just returned from a 2 night stay with our children. We booked, through another site, a double and a triple room as that was what was available and then I e-mailed the hotel directly to request that the rooms be next to each other. They responded promptly and, on arrival, we not only had rooms next to each...

The hotel is in a lovely area, very clean. The room was ok, clean and functional. The ensuite is small but as expected in a building of this age. Check in went smoothly, we were even able to check in a bit early. lots of stairs as peope have said, but not too taxing (I have lower limb injuries). When...

As a World Traveller with my own Travel Blog and frequent trips to London, once discovering the Rhodes Hotel, I would not think of staying anywhere else! It is truly my top pick for a boutique, clean, friendly and conveniently located hotel. The staff are always professional and friendly. They remember me each time I return which says alot. They...

We stayed in December and visited Winter Wonderland. Location is brilliant very close to Paddington. Rooms were clean and tidy and staff were very helpful. We will be coming back again soon. We stayed in the separate building which again was clean and tidy.

It is an old fashioned but very charming hotel in one of the best areas in central London. My single room was really small but very confortable;as well as the bathroom. When I made the reservation I asked for a room in the main building;they confirmed it immediately. The only problem was that my room was on 4th floor, and there is no...

Thank you for your review. So sorry to hear you were cold, it is a shame you didn't call 24hr reception as we could have offered solutions: helped advise you to turn your radiator on (the air-con unit is only for cooling although the temperature can be raised to blow out hot air, however this is not advisable), or we...
