I am fininshing my fourth night of a four night stay, and this place is an excellent value. Clean rooms, hot water, fresh towels every day, decent breakfast (coffee is pretty bad...), and friendy staff. The hotel is on a very quiet square a block from Paddington, so a good locale to get to/from heathrow & other lcoations in London....

My husband has been staying at St. Davids since 1980. We stayed there together in 2006 and again earlier this month. St. Davids is steps away from Paddington Station. A family business, George has been cooking a full English breakfast (included) to guests for 30 years. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Internet wi-fi is available free in...

The hotel was central for what we had planned. A four day visit to music concerts at Hyde park only a 15 minute walk through a beautiful area of wealth and interest. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was small but very clean and overlooking the square and a beautiful public park area. There were plenty of pubs...

I have stayed in a different hotel in london everyweek for about a year. This hotel seems too popular for what it provides and as a consequence the service is slow. The rooms are very basic and lacking in amenities standard in others for the price. Overall it is not horrible but it is not on par with what you...

Convenient location - close by to Paddington tube, and a short walk from Hyde Park. My double room wasn't huge, but big enough (cosy!!). The bathroom was small but functional. Shower had plenty of hot water - and it poured out (didn't dribble like in some places). Breakfast adequate. Service - exceptional !! Couldn't do enough !! Will stay here...

This is my second time I've stayed at St David's in the past year - this time on my own. I stayed in a single room (shared bathroom) on the top floor overlooking the square. I think I love this hotel more and more every time I stay here - the staff are just so welcoming. Would you believe it...

I have been coming to the St. David for years upon a recommendation from a colleague who has stayed here for -- it believe, decades! As the other reviews have pointed out, it is very conveniently located to Paddington Station (great for getting to Heathrow). My favorite rooms are on the front overlooking the square. I had a back, subterranean...

We have just returned home after a lovely weekend in London. We stayed at St. David's Hotels and even though we have been travelling a lot all of us we were so touched by the warmth of the staff of St. David's Hotels. The atmosphere at the hotel is unique – you feel so much welcome as soon as you...

Clean, comfortable, old style hospitality. Home cooked meal was delicous. Room (single) small but comfortable. So convenient to shops, restaurants and travel (train and bus). Would definitely stay there again if ever heading back to London. Highly recommend the stay.
