I booked two twin rooms at the Lime Tree Hotel (135-137 Ebury Street, London). Staff was very accommodating with booking changes prior to arrival. All personnel we came in contact with at the hotel were stellar in their duties. My room and my sister’s room were on the top floor (oye! 61 steps; no elevator). The front desk person had... More

The staff was very friendly and the we loved the breakfast each morning. There is no elevator, and a lot of stairs, so pack light! The restaurant next door is really good and the Victoria Tube station is just a short walk away.

Having booked at the Victory Services Club & then been turned away (even though we were charged for the time we were supposed to be there and thus far they are refusing to refund us!!!), we had to find somewhere else to stay. We made a last minute booking at the Lime Tree Hotel and consequently had to move rooms... More

For the price this hotel was fine, yes small cramped rooms and lots of winding stairs (far to narrow to navigate with luggage when you get an upper floor room) but ok otherwise. The soundproffing did not exist but the street quiets down fairly early so this was not much of a problem. The worst part was that we wanted... More

Wonderful hotel with a shower to die for! The room was spacious, overlooking Ebury Street full of holiday lights. There were 2 of us and the twin beds were so comfortable. We really enjoyed our full English Breakfast. The owner gave us great directions on how to get to Heathrow on the Tube without having to climb stairs to make... More

Had room 4 for three of us. Not spacious, but very clean. Full English Breakfast was very good. Helpful and friendly staff. Easy walk to either Sloan Square or Victoria underground stations. WiFi worked well. Would stay here again.

Cute boutique hotel in a central location halfway between Sloan Sq and Victoria stations. Small rooms, but with nice touches and attentive service. I've stayed there twice. First time had a better room facing the garden, and loved the vegetarian breakfast with home-baked bread. Now stayed in a tiny room facing the street. The room was surprisingly tired and noisy,... Excellent location, calming elegant décor, comfortable beds and a wholesome breakfast. This hotel is just a short walk from Victoria Coach Station, so ideal if you are travelling by coach. Luggage can be left if you arrive before your room is ready, or you want to spend time in London before your coach leaves.

I really want the world to know what a truly wonderful and special place the Lime Tree Hotel is. The building is very charming and cosy and lovely. Do note that if your room is on the top floor there are many steps to climb. We actually prefer the top floor, so we make the journey upstairs every night. The... More

When I travel to London, I always stay at this great small hotel. The owner Matt and Charlotte and their excellent staff make this hotel seem more like your personal apartment for you London stay. The rate includes a great breakfast each day and is inclusive of the UK VA tax. The hotel is close to Victoria Train and Tube... More

Staying in Belgravia

Neighborhood Profile
Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
