This was our second stay at the Lime Tree and we loved it so much. The front desk staff is just amazing, so nice and helpful, and that makes such a difference. The room was perfect for our family of three and although we had some trouble with the shower the manager was very prompt, communicative and took care of... More

We stayed in a standard twin room on the top level (room 9) that faced the street. We kept the window open at night and found the street a bit noisy. The beds were comfortable and included two pillows. There was good wi-fi, a small desk, safe and closet. The room set up includes a basic tea/coffee service, three towels... More

We loved everything about this place. Charming, elegant, comfortable, impeccable service. We felt very much at home. Staff were very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area and London. The breakfast was delish and filling. Wonderful location.

I'd stayed here before but was so disappointed we moved after one night. Once charming rooms seemed spartan, windows wouldn't open far enough to provide ventilation during a heat wave, and a long-standing request for a lower room (fewer stairs) had not been fulfilled. And the prices were way out of line -- we found a hotel for the rest... More

Older building with character! Bathroom was very nice! Bed was comfortable and breakfast was very good! The bus station and Tube were very close! Walking distant to Buckingham Palace. The staff was very helpful! Restaurant next door and Pub across the street if you want easy! Very nice safe neighborhood! Great start to our four week UK trip!

Ask for a low floor if you have problems with stairs. They are very happy too help you with your bags but these stairs can get steep and its a bit of a hike to the 3rd ( american 4th floor ) . I also need to warn you that a lot of the bathrooms are very small so again... More

We have stayed in the area a few times and thought this property would be a good alternative to the Belgravia B&B which is on the opposite side of the street. For a B&B it is not cheap but this is London after all. We stayed in Room 26 which is on the third (top) floor. There is no lift... More

The Lime Tree Hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood but with easy access to the city by car, tube, or bus. Our room was splendid, very clean, and looked out into the beautiful garden at the back of the hotel. The garden was beautiful and a refreshing way to spend a bit of time after a long day of... We chose this based off of a recommendation from a Rick Steve's travel book. I did plenty of searching on other sites and found the prices in London were extremely high for basic hotel rooms. It was our first time in London so no idea where to target, and we needed 2 rooms. Never thought I'd pick a B&B in... More

We stayed here (family of 4 with 2 teenagers) and got two rooms. We were on the top floor but no problem! A little loud on the street side but fine. The food is excellent, very nicely decorated and the staff is great! We will definately stay here again. Walking distance to Victoria and Sloane Square tubes - Sloane being... More

Staying in Belgravia

Neighborhood Profile
Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
