The Lime Tree Hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood but with easy access to the city by car, tube, or bus. Our room was splendid, very clean, and looked out into the beautiful garden at the back of the hotel. The garden was beautiful and a refreshing way to spend a bit of time after a long day of... We chose this based off of a recommendation from a Rick Steve's travel book. I did plenty of searching on other sites and found the prices in London were extremely high for basic hotel rooms. It was our first time in London so no idea where to target, and we needed 2 rooms. Never thought I'd pick a B&B in... More

We stayed here (family of 4 with 2 teenagers) and got two rooms. We were on the top floor but no problem! A little loud on the street side but fine. The food is excellent, very nicely decorated and the staff is great! We will definately stay here again. Walking distance to Victoria and Sloane Square tubes - Sloane being... More

I stayed at the Lime Tree for two weeks; my first week in London, then friends joined me and we traveled two weeks, then back for another week alone before flying back to the States. I'd really researched good hotels in the area, and Lime Tree was highly regarded even by Rick Steves. So here's my single woman who traveled... More

I stayed at Lime Tree for four nights on a recent solo trip to London for the first time. The hotel is super clean, beautifully decorated, and is in a good location. The breakfasts was great and the I loved the garden at the back. It is in a very posh/swish part of London while also being near the Victoria... More

I have a dream of returning to London and staying here again. This place was great. Being a female solo traveler I really felt they cared about me and wold help if any problems came up. There aren't many places I can say that about! It was fancy....that's what I liked about it. Very homey.

What a wonderful gem of a small hotel… Loved the Lime Tree – even though my husband and I had to switch rooms once within our three night stay… So – I had read all the great reviews and my “buddy” Rick Steves had this listed as one of his favs in London – so I was thrilled to learn... More

We stayed 4 nights at the Lime Tree. It was clean, quiet and in a great neighborhood that offered a variety of restaurants and foods. The temperature was a little warmer then normal but they supply fans in each room. Breakfast was delicious with a great choice each morning. The employees were friendly and helped us with locations of sights.... More

This was my home for 7 nights. I had requested a superior single room with a double bed on a lower floor and was given a lovely room on the first floor at the front of the hotel with a balcony. The hotel is very well situated in the center of Belgravia, quiet and surrounded by excellent restaurants. It is... More

Staying in Belgravia

Neighborhood Profile
Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
