Wow...what a fantastic hotel and such welcoming staff, who really made us feel at home. We only stayed one night but nothing was too much trouble. We had 2 interconnecting rooms that were superb and the children loved their Goring Sheep and playing on the lawn before our afternoon tea. I must highly recommend the afternoon tea. Thank you to...

Dear devonsunbeam, Thank you so much for your extremely kind words about your recent stay with your family at The Goring. We are very family focused and I do hope that your children loved their V.I (little) P's gifts and hotel passport! I reviewed The Goring following our previous stay in December and have just telephoned them to book our next visit. What sets The Goring apart from other Five Star hotels anywhere in the world is the fact that, after nearly six months and hundreds of guests, the lady at reservations immediately knew who I was and remembered many of the...

My husband and I stayed at the Goring for one night in April prior to joining a tour. We thought we would treat ourselves by staying at the goring after reading all the rave reviews. Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
