We stayed at the hotel in the summer and had a truly wonderful experience - from the moment we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome and treated exceptionally well. The weather was beautiful so we enjoyed a drink in garden, which was so peaceful and quiet considering the hotel is in the middle of London. Our room was...

Very nice hotel with good location and superb service. The concierge and the rest of the staff was always very helpful and positive. The breakfast was really nice, especially the omelettes and the home made sausages. Afternoon tea is really recommended if you stay at the Goring. We managed to get a reservation with short notice but it is advisable...

My wife and I stayed for one night with evening meal in the restaurant. Hotel is excellent and surprisingly quiet for such a busy central location. Every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. The staff at this hotel are amazing. Patrick, one of the concierge, was so lovely and helpful. We went out for dinner one night on Patrick's recommendation and when we returned the doorman, whom we had never met, asked us how the specific restaurant was. Great team work to make you feel truly special and taken care of. The staff...

This beautiful hotel offers nothing but the very best personal service. Everyone was eager to please and committed to excellence. Patrick the concierge was especially outstanding. My room was well appointed and extremely comfortable, and the lounge offered a relaxing transition from business day to evening activities.

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
