We needed a reasonable priced hotel to stay in whilst visiting a friend in hospital. We had a triple room, double bed and one single. Space a bit tight but we were only there to sleep. Comfortable beds, hottest day of year so fan was very welcome, lovely friendly staff, good breakfast, choice of continental or cooked. The only downside... More

Travelled solo and got a twin ensuite room. A bit tight for space, however comfortable for one. Excellent value given no bathroom share! Location brilliant; 5 minutes walk to Hyde park...go through the side streets rather than Edgeware road and then you're only 5 minutes walk to marble arch\oxford street. Staff very helpful. I'm not keen on high floor rooms and... More

This hotel's location is superb, being within easy walking distance of Hyde Park and Paddington Station. Check-in/out was straightforward. The room itself was small and a bit crammed, but it was clean and well equipped. It was also a very quiet room, rather surprisingly as the hotel is on a very busy road. The breakfast selection was extensive and lovely... More

very good hotel, simple and small rooms but clean, kind welcome. The room is equipped with everything is needed and the price is reasonable . Very comfortable bed. Good location, you can reach Oxford Street by feet in 10 minutes only

Having read other reviews on this hotel I was filled with trepidation on my journey from Leeds to London. I was expecting quite a run-down place so I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the hotel itself. Although it didn't look too impressive from the outside and the reception area was a tiny space halfway up some stairs the... More

The room was compact, but perfectly adequate for a few nights for me. Free WIFI was fast, beds very comfy. The shower was excellent. Staff were accommodating and friendly. I felt very safe, as a solo female traveler. Included breakfast was very good. The rooms smelt clean and fresh, though a little tired in places - but nothing off putting.... More

Our room was in the basement and very old and tired. We looked out onto a brick wall and could only see daylight by looking up into the top left hand corner (couldn't tell what the weather was like). There were no stairs outside of the basement it was blocked in which I didn't like. The bathroom was minute -... More

I went for 2 night to this hotel and was very disappointed . It was supposed to be a triple room but honestly was only fit for 1 person !!! The wash basin was cracked very poor decoration through out . The staff weren't very helpful . Won't be going back !!!

My wife booked this hotel at the last minute. I was surprised by the price which I thought quite cheap for London. I was very pleased with the hotel. Although my initial reaction to the room was one of disappointment as it smelled a bit musty. However the room it self was very clean and tidy. The bed was very... More

The location of this hotel was fairly good; close to Paddington Station, lots of cafes and restaurants and about a 10-15 minute walk to Hyde Park. We were able to walk to Carnaby Street through Hyde Park and Oxford Street in about an hour. The staff were friendly, a bit disorganized, but perfectly nice. Try to stay on the top... More
