Neighborhood
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.

This is excellent value for money. My room is super quite, dark: so I can sleep like a baby with no noise or light. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It’s really clean + you get free wine and cheese - unlimited. Perfect location. Definitely recommend 😃

I stayed in the club part of the hotel for 5 nights a few weeks ago and it was one of the best hotels I have stayed in. It is an incredible find. The room was nice, not large, but I wasn’t there for a big room. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. Everything was sparkling clean. Breakfast is included, food is available all day and drinks. Cocktails are served in the evening. There is a lovely outside garden area. I really can’t say enough. I have stayed in very fancy hotels in London that charged much more and this hotel was definitely as nice, staff was better, and it was a better deal.

The hotel deserves more than a 3 star rating in some areas but overall I settled for a 3. Great location very close to Hyde Park, Oxford St. Marble Arch and eateries on James St and Baker St. Hotel consists on several town houses spread along the road with at least 3 entrances but not all connected. Hotel doesn’t have a restaurant or proper bar. No cooked breakfast but there is a cafe style area where you can have a continental breakfast and a nibble in the evening. The staff were friendly while professional and helpful. The hotel was a maze of corridors. The bedroom was compact. A real struggle to manoeuvre around bed. Spotless and functional but small. Modern and efficient bathroom but you had to move to close door. Wall was frosted glass so when the light went on the bedroom was bright. Large tv, water and kettle but be advised no hairdryer or mirror with seat at for my Mrs to prepare herself I would use again

Excellent hotel location between Marylebone Station and Hyde Park. Friendly staff, immaculate modern rooms and unique ethos. There is a small kitchen/ courtyard for each of the several Georgian houses along a short run in Gloucester place. When you arrive you are offered food and wine which is available throughout your stay. It is all included in price as well as great continental breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble and I saw people having bacon sandwiches and ham and cheese panini’s on request. Will be looking at other city break opportunities in Z hotels.

Dear Richard, Many thanks for your time taken to write such a lovely feedback. Your comments were passed to the Team who were very content that you enjoyed your stay in the Club at the Z Hotel Gloucester Place. We are genuinely happy to provide great service to our Guests. Especially when they arrive, get the room and then come to have a glass of champagne before lovely stroll to enjoy concerts in Hyde Park. Stroll across beautiful Gloucester Place and the calm neighbourhood, across busy Oxford Street, through triumphal Marble Arch. I am personally glad that you thoroughly enjoyed your stay. Looking forward to welcoming you again and again. Best Regards, Piotr

What an amazing surprise. Met by Aaron and Cinthia on our arrival they were like our long lost children. Looked after us and couldn’t have been better hosts. We forgot we were in a hotel. The benefits of a Club Room exceeding expectation. Having stayed all over the world in club rooms Z sure have got this right. I’ve lost count of the number of hotels I’ve stayed in when I london but this one I will be back to. Thank you for getting it just right.
