We stayed at Z Gloucester Place for two nights and very much enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and the rooms modern and clean. Our room was quite small however, and we had trouble connecting to the wireless internet from the third floor. Overall, we would stay there again given the location and the quality of service, plus the...

I returned to this friendly, home away from home, for my second stay, to find that things were even better. It is a small, friendly, hotel, well-located, providing everything needed for a stay in central London. The rooms are extremely clean, the bed as good as at home, and the service excellent. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London...

We were upgraded to all inclusive. What a delightful little find. It was like being in someone's house and wet all met at breakfast round the single dining table. Helpful friendly staff. Mainly buffet food available but really nice. Afternoon tea and cheese ans wine at 1700. Room was small but clean and functions for our 2 day trip to...

Located centrally at a short distance from Oxford Street this is a no frills hotel. The rooms are clean, smallish and located in separate buildings which do not adjoin. I would give it a 2 star rating and it is a budget option.

Thanks to the superb team notably Maria Claudia and Sandra who made for a great, friendly stay at the Z hotel where nothing was too much hassle and the upgrade made a fun difference with access to the larder and drinks! We had a great time with my girlfriend and parents and in a great location. Our bedroom was a...

My first impression is off a very easy check-in and extremely helpful staff. After staying for a couple of nights I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Close to all transport and even had a couple of nice breakfast places for a feed.

Late review, as I stayed here in January. My experience was just ok. I found the website's photos are a bit deceptive. I stayed in the smallest room, which they don't show online so it was difficult to know what I was paying for. The building itself seems to be a bit old, with parts refurbished for the hotel. I...

I was looking for a hotel in the Marylebone area and was surprised to find such a good value room in such a central location. The staff were all lovely and I really appreciated the free buffet of cheese and wine, which was perfect as I was short of time. Other hotels offer free snacks, but they are rarely of...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
