Upgraded to Club room at check-in (no idea why). Fabulous little treats of afternoon tea/coffee, soft drinks, wine, cheeses, lovely breads, cocktails and liqueurs all on offer in the communal 'kitchen' all day - and all night actually. Cheery staff to either serve you or let you get on with it. Bedroom was compact as promised, but in the basement...

This hotel is ideal for a short stay city break. It's clean and minimal (but in a nice way) it has everything you could possibly need including a very good hairdryer. We stayed in the top floor and the room was small but that didn't bother us. The bathroom and shower were very large and the bed was so comfy!...

Check-in, smooth. Room, very clean, but just too small and minimalist for my liking. We paid an extra £10 for a super-king, which was set against the window on the lower-ground floor. Some of the TV functionality wasn't working. Bathroom was a cornered-off area of the room, but felt as though part of room. No door lock and semi-opaque frosted...

The overall experience of this stay was good. Beside the fact that the location is near perfect, the room was spacious and clean. But, there are some weak points like lack of some facilities. For example, if you need to talk to the reception, you need to get out of your room then get the elevator to down to the...

This includes cans of coke, wine, beer, Processco! I was amazed! Also they have cheese, bread, olives and cakes between 5-8! Really lovely atmosphere it's like being sat in a kitchen it's...

We booked a King Room for 8 nights. As we arrived we were offered to keep our luggage while we went to look around. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the incredible Oxford Street ! So if you're planning on doing some shopping- the location is just perfect. As we came back to the hotel the staff insisted to...

Booked a queens room without. Window as the others were sold out. Got to the hotel and our room had been upgraded which was great to know. The hotel and room itself was modern and clean. Staff were welcoming and helpful and shops were just down the road. Reasonable prices for the location. Would definitely recommend it and would stop...

Good hotel. I want to thank for the Welcoming, Kindness and Hospitality of the hotel staff. Especially Gloucester 87 staff. Clean and new room and bathroom. Close to baker street, baker underground station. Close to Oxford street. There is a bus to Luton airport, going from Gloucester street.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
