Do not stay here. I don't care what you have to do, skip meals, sell your belongings...whatever you need to get money for a nicer place. For the price I wasn't expecting luxury, but the whole hotel is gross. My room had long black hairs strewn all over it, including the bed. I honestly don't think the sheets get washed; mine smelled musty, and the pillows smelled so disgusting I had to request new ones (reception didn't seem surprised by it). There is no soundproofing and the floors are incredibly squeaky, so you'll be kept up all night even when your neighbors aren't doing anything more than walking around and speaking in low voices. The kicker was when a man pounded on my room at 10am and told me to check out because he had to clean it. Check out isn't until 11am, but he didn't care. Stay here if you'd like the same experience.

The first thing that struck me was the very warm welcome, the person who greeted me was so friendly. Our room was small, but comfortable and the beds incredibly so. We were sorry we only had an overnight stay. I could tell that the hotel was a bit short-staffed, but that hadn’t compromised cleanliness and attentiveness. Highly recommended. Tip, if you don’t like too many stairs, ask for a lower floor.

The Rushmore is a fantastic hotel, I stayed here for a night as I had an interview and the staff were brilliant, very helpful and even gave me an iron to use. Not only is the location and value for money excellent...The rooms are also extremely clean, free hot drinks, the receptionists and cleaners are lovely, always greet you with a smile. Next time I am in London I’ll be staying at the Rushmore hotel!!

I stayed at the Rushmore last week for one night for work. I was given a lovely room on the ground floor. It was clean and spacious, its high ceilings adding nicely to the ambience. The staff could not have been more helpful. Overall, it was a very nice stay, in a very convenient location and great value for money. I will be back.
