If you want a one night cheap hotel this might be it, it is what it is small cheap by London standards and you get a breakfast in the morning. Our very small...

The Hotel is real terrible. You get to hear someone in the lift and someone walking on the floor on top of you. Sounds such as these wake you up since the lift is the chain lift and one has to pull it. The room is small. The only plus point is it is bang on opposite of british library,...

At first sight this hotel is somewhat down at heel and although this is true, it is clean and the hotel staff are very attentive. The room was rather compact and bijou and I am sure that although the beds are advertised as full doubles I am sure it was a small double. The bathroom was just about adequate if...

It was a peaceful quiet and secure hotel .A great location, really very close to the British museum and undeground stations. About 20 -min walk from Baker str. Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was very good, cooked to order and very fast service. The building is a bit old, so the windows were a little drafty. The room (generally clean) was small...

I stayed at this hotel for three days with my boyfriend. We arrived early to leave our luggage before we could get our room were told to come back at 1.30 despite the booking website saying check-in was at 1. At 1.15 we arrived and were able to get our key, but when we got to our floor we discovered...

The rooms are tiny and the bed is cheap. The showers are only large enough for a child.breakfsat is shoddy, staff are rude and the hotel is very noisy. Many better hotels at much better rates in the area.

Got room number 11. Was quite tiny. so if you do stay here avoid that room. Don't know about the other rooms but this one was surely not pleasant. Breakfast was on the house so that was nice, and the people serving were very polite. Location is good enuf but then if you are in London, almost every hotel is...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.

“Use any other hotel.”
  • The double bed was against walls on three sides.
  • Taken with my back against the opposite wall.
  • Shower base was 60cm square, no escape from the cheap shower curtain.
  • Showing the miniscule floor area.
