This was well worth the money. Lovely hotel with great facilities. Location perfect for access to central london. The spa is also worth using. Was quiet when we stayed and that was a Friday night! Staff were very helpful and polite.

We visited the hotel for afternoon tea whilst in London for my birthday, the afternoon tea was lovely with plenty to eat and a glass of champagne. There we a selection of sandwiches and cakes and the most amazing scones with jam and clotted cream. The staff were lovely and very helpful they kept offering us more sandwiches, more tea/coffee...

We booked this hotel based on its location, 5 star rating and swimming pool (which we wanted for our little one). On the positive side, we were upgraded to an executive double on check-in and the hotel staff were very friendly and efficient. The swimming pool area is very nice. The hotel is also very near Holborn tube station and...

Stayed here for 1 night on a week day. It's well located, within a very short walk of the tube station. Welcome on arrival was great and check in very quick. I hadn't stayed here before but I have used the Grange at St Paul's which I love! Once checked in I realised the Holborn Grange was quite different. It's...

If you fancy paying too much money for arrogant or clueless staff and a tired and failing environment, book this place. The worn interior design is aptly modeled on ancient Egypt and the snooty bloke at reception looks at you as if he appears to think he's the Pharaoh. On the positive side, the breakfast and restaurant food are OK...

We are regular visitors to this hotel however this was the first one with a family of young children. Having initially booked a superior double, we were upgraded to an executive (no family rooms available). In addition due to the time of year, hot breakfast was free (usually only continental). The executive rooms are noticeably larger and contain a king...

Upon arrival at 2.30 we were told unceremoniously that our room would not be ready until 3.00pm. We were directed to leave our bags with the concierge, who quite honestly looked like he has raided a dressing up box in his ill fitting uniform. We were then issued a receipt, and our bag (containing ipad & glass was flung on...

Having stayed here on previous occasions we decided to return for our recent trip to London from Glasgow. We had a very nice small double room at the rear of hotel which overlooks a car park so be aware of this when booking as it ain't attractive. We didn't mind as we were out most of stay and the cost...

My wife and I stayed here twice and we will keep coming back. The service was excellent and the staff was very informative and helpful. The concierge during the daytime/evening time was very well-informed. He recommended a few locations for us to eat and they were spot on. The hotel is within walking distance to all of the important locations....

I stayed at the Grange Holborn Hotel last night (Jan 15th) with my sister. We had booked through lastminute.com 'Secret hotel deal' which described a fantastic luxurious 5 Star hotel and spa in the heart of London. Pleased with the choice we had been given we looked forward to our weekend. On arrival, we checked in and headed to our...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
