I have stayed at The Euro Hotel in Cartwright Gardens five times now over the last nine years. I keep returning for all the reasons mentioned in my previous reviews and, after my recent visit, found that the quality of the hotel has not diminished over the years. The Euro Hotel continues to have many strengths, one of them being... More

This was my first-ever trip to the UK and the Euro was recommended by friends. From booking to departure, my experience was easy, pleasant and professional. We arrived early and were able to check in. I had asked for a first-floor room and they were very accommodating. The room was perfect for a single person - bed comfortable, big room,... More

Had three nights at the Euro Hotel, very comfortable, clean and great service. The breakfast was excellent with very attentive staff. We had a room at the back on the second floor, and this was very quiet. Good WiFi in the room and good tea and coffee facilities. I would certainly stay there again on my next visit to London as... We have stayed in the Cartwright Circle of hotels many times This time we decided to try the Euro. Very clean but basic accomodation. Unfortunately we were on the third floor and had to carry four suitcases up four flights of stairs. My husband nearly had a heart attack, jokingly though, we never want to do that again.Ask for a... Arrived late and left early but the but in between i.e. the hotel was most satisfactory. The room was a reasonable size, for London. It's a shame the sink was in the bedroom as there wasn't space in the bathroom. The check in was fine. The cooked breakfast adequate. Plenty of staff and very efficient. Slightly dearer than we would... More

I was in london for a course. I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights for a total of £440 incl breakfast in a single room. The service was great, the kettle in my room had slimey limescale wich i pointed out on my first stay and it was promptly fixed. The breakfast is freshly cooked lots of choice and... More

Spent two nights here recently on the recommendation of a friend. Arrived into Euston so very convenient. At the other end of Cartwright Gardens are decent pubs and cafes, and the walk to Covent Garden takes 20 minutes, so you can enjoy all the offerings in between. Lovely staff, good breakfast, room was clean and the shower worked well. Minor... More

I'd stayed here 5 years ago and was pleased to find it as friendly and comfortable as I remembered. The location is unbeatable - short walk to St Pancras, Russell square or Euston tube stops, close to the British Museum, a few minutes walk to supermarkets, cafes, restaurants (including the delicious Carluccio's), second-hand bookshops, laundromat.... and it's quiet and overlooks... Really good location in between Euston station/underground and Russell Square underground. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived app11.45am but they happily looked after our cases while we wandered onto Russell Square for a picnic lunch. The room was really hot even with the aircon/fan on, we couldn't leave the window open during the night being on the ground floor.... More

I didn't stay at the Euro Hotel, but while we were in London I lost my driver's license. A pedestrian turned it in to this hotel, and they sent it back to me with a cover letter. I am so pleased that a good samaritan turned it in, but even more excited that the kind people at this hotel sent... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
