The Tavistock hotel is very central for London it is a short walk away from the tube station and you are only a few stops to get to Leciester Square. Our room was clean and had 3 single beds and toilet and shower were separate which was good for 3 girls. We had dinner included for first night which we... More

Stayed a couple of nights midweek. On the 2nd floor facing inwards. Apart from noise of fans which was a steady 'white noise' it was very quiet. Room was clean, powerful water pressure for bath or shower, kettle, tea\ coffee. Bed was comfortable but could have done with extra pillows, 2 pillows per person just wasn't enough when sitting on... The Tavistock is well located and was ideal for a quick 1 night trip into London. The room was very clean and tidy and bed (a small double) was comfortable. No aircon but we were on the 8th floor and could open the window to get a nice breeze. All the staff we had dealings with were very pleasant and... More

Stayed for 1 night on an extremely warm night. Had to have window open all night so road noise was quite bad. Room recently renovated. Rooms small but more than adequate and very clean. Arrived late but restaurant staff fitted me in. Breakfast was a bit holiday camp but chefs topped up food regularly so was fresh. Was cheap and... More

The Tavistock is a reasonably priced, reasonably comfortable hotel in a great location next to major attractions in London. The public spaces in the foyer, the bar and restaurant still have some of its 1930's Art Deco features and it is quite charming. We requested a room on the 6th floor overlooking Tavistock Square, on the advice of a friend.... More

Had another lovely weekend stay 😀the staff here are really helpful, the rooms are somewhat basic but they are very clean indeed, looking forward to another new years eve in London 👌the hotel is situated in a ideal place as it's not far to travel for sight seeing & there's some really nice restaurants close by.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
