Booked this hotel for my husbands 40th birthday on a budget, Couldn't believe how close the hotel was to all the main attractions for the price we paid (would have expected to pay a lot more for its location). all staff were exceptionally friendly and nothing was ever a problem. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone including families.

The premier inn is in a great location, rooms are great and the premier inn breakfast is great to, BUT!!!! The thyme Resturant menu is rubbish!!! Last year the menu was great with lots of different choices, but this year it's just a dressed up take out!!! Menu full of burgers and pizzas. It's the first time we've had to...

We stayed here as it was a good location, speedy hassle free check in and was made welcome as soon as we arrived . Safe was not working in the room and do get noise from delivery lorries early in the morning. Overall good for a budget hotel

Nice hotel, good location but for a budget brand well overpriced! Over £600 for 3 nights B&B even though it was school holidays is OTT. If you like quantity over quality for Breakfast than this may be for you

Have just spent a long weekend here, for a theatre and sightseeing trip with my disabled daughter. Location, adapted room, staff and restaurant were excellent, BUT be prepared for a very challenging way of entering and leaving the building!! As the entrance has steep steps, you are escorted around the side of the building, down a VERY steep slope, through...

Premier Inns are a good bet for a short break in the UK. A good standard is guaranteed, and the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. You won't get a better experience from any other budget hotel.

Great location and brilliant to stay at with children. Staff very polite and friendly. The room was plenty big enough for two adults and two children, very comfy beds. Bathroom was very clean and the shower was great. VIP parking service was excellent.

A quick review following my weekend in London and completing the Marathon. Overall, I cannot fault the County Inn – great location, excellent service and clean facilities. A good base for anyone, especially last weekend and there were many, many runners who based themselves there. There was no hassle checking in, the room was ready and very clean. The breakfast...

Very friendly staff & welcome. The room was clean, bright & very comfortable . Even though it is right next to the London Eye it was very quite during the day & night. Great location for site seeing, pubs & restaurants., few minutes walk into city & right on the south bank.

Excellent location for both leisure and business travel, immaculate and comfortable rooms, more than you would expect from a 'budget' hotel. Would prefer not to have pay extra for 24 hour wifi and to have the option of room service. Otherwise, fully recommend the hotel for families and business travelers.

Staying in Southbank

Neighborhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
