Manager a 'people person'; Staff enormously professional and attentive to detail; environment: Home away from home.

We went to London August 2011 and had the time of our lives! We were two families of four (children 10-14) and I was in charge of looking for a suitable apartment to stay altogether. Since the moment I saw apartment 1 on the internet I knew that one was perfect for us! We had all we needed, and felt...

We stayed for 1 week at Glenthurston and found the accommodation to be all we could ask for. Well equipped, roomy and hospitable (nothing was too much trouble for site maintenance). Good rail and bus links to London Bridge and Charing Cross and Catford itself has a good selection of local shops (there's even a nearby Tesco for those who...

I stayed here when I came to London to work bringing my young children and my mother to babysit. Glenhurston has a large enclosed garden area which was very safe for them to play in. They were easily entertained with the swings, trampoline, slide and pond. They also enjoyed the pool and the recreation area was great for them to...

We stayed for 3 weeks in a very comfortable well equipped apartment. The location close to 2 railway stations and a bus stop was very convenient to London. Felt very much @ home. Special thanks to Simon the Manager who was very helpful. Special tip - suggest you ask Glenthurston to organise transfer from airport it would be difficult to...

1. Ideal location in London for a young family to use; train station, Tesco store, Take-aways, all 5mins walk max. 2. Place was spotless when we arrived. Facilities modern and fit for purpose. 3. During the week I had a couple of minor queries that were answered almost immediately by Simon. 4. When leaving we asked to stay on a...

We have had two lovely vacations in London with our family and Glenthurston Self -Catering has been our accomodation for both. The size of the apartments accomodates us well with our two big boys and the property itself, walking distance to the train and the local food stores make it perfect for a self catering family vacation. I tell people...

Very comfortable self-catering flat. Common spaces very well kept with laundry, lounge incl. billiard and table football. And the swimming pool is really soothing after a hard day visiting and shopping in London. Easy connections to the city centre from the nearby railway station.

The apartment we had was large, clean and very comfortable. The location was excellent, just a short walk to the Catford/Catford Bridge train stations, and a short walk to High Street shopping and the Tescos. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt quite safe walking from the train to the apartment when coming home at night (11 pm - 12...
