The hotel staff were extremely welcoming. Location was brilliant in the heart of Covent Garden and perfect for everything we wanted to do. Room was spacious and clean with complimentary facilities. No breakfast option but this was not a problem as there are numerous eateries in the vicinity. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Stayed at the Fielding recently and was not disappointed - the location to the Royal Opera House and Covent Garden is simply the best and made everything so convenient. All the staff I met during my stay were exceptionally friendly and well informed. The room we had was fine and perfectly suitable for a short stay. Would recommend.

This is such a handy hotel for the Royal Opera House and the Covent Garden area. I have stayed a few times and it never disappoints. Very friendly staff and while some rooms are smaller they are fine for a short stay.

Nice hotel, great location, and very friendly staff. The property is starting to show some wear and tear though. Carpets in the hallways are fraying, the toilet brush was falling apart, tiny TV, and the remote did not work properly. But overall I really enjoyed my stay.

Shared a twin room with my sister as a trip for her 40th. This hotel is SO conveniently placed, its perfect for Covent Garden and in walking distance for all the main theatres. Reception is extremely attentive. While the room was fairly small it had everything in it, was cosy and warm (needed in April). Reception is very knowledgeable and... More

Spent a week here over New Year's. The hotel location is a secret garden sort of spot ... an eye of calm in the Covent Garden hurricane of activity. If you understand that you are getting prime location ... and if you understand that for the price the size of the rooms commensurate with value .... and if you understand... More

If you are looking for a great hotel in the heart of central London then you won't go far wrong with this hotel. Lovely spacious clean room and very polite staff. Excellent price when compared to others in the same location.

The Fielding House is so conveniently close to the London tube Covent Garden stop -- the one that comes from the airport -- that it is worth the stay. While the lack of an elevator/lift for some might turn you off, the loveliness of the double rooms is worth it. I think they help with bags if you need it.... More

We felt so welcome and safe here. The hotel is small, with no amenities but that didn't matter. The bedding smelt lovely and clean and the bathroom was spotless. Complimentary bottles of water, coffee, tea and biscuits, shampoo etc. We had a hair dryer in our room. There is a fridge you can use downstairs and ice if you need... More

We stayed three nights in November 2015 for a tourist visit to London. It's a fantastic location if you want to stay in the theatre district. We had a basement room, but it was really comfortable, clean and well maintained. We walked everywhere from the hotel at all times of the day and night, and used Tube from Covent Garden... More

Staying in Covent Garden

Neighborhood Profile
Covent Garden
Whether you're headed here to check out the multitude of shops, theaters, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, or simply to be among the multitude of people who pass through this pretty part of town, you'll love soaking up the festive and historic atmosphere in and around Covent Garden. Even if you don't have tickets to the opera or a show at one of the many famous theaters here, don't be surprised if find yourself captivated by some impromptu act of a street performer wowing the crowds in Covent Garden's Piazza. If you do have tickets, you'll be pleased to note that many of the local eateries accommodate theatergoers with prix fixe menus, early dinners, and later than usual opening hours.
