Stayed just one night but found the hotel quite adequate for my needs. It is conviniently placed very close to St. Pancra/King's Cross station - very handy if you're arriving from Gatwick Airport and have to go to The Guardian, which I had. All within a few minutes of walking distance. Hotel staff is actually friendly and the British Breakfast...

The Alhambra Hotel was clean, well located and comfortable. I was down on an overnight trip with my work and needed affordable budget accommodation and the hotel was an ideal choice. It's a three minute walk from Kings Cross train station. Staff were friendly and approachable, the twin room (number 2) was small but perfectly clean and tidy. The shower...

I’m not one to write poor reviews, generally I'm very much a 'look on the bright side' kind of person, but I was quite disappointed with my experience at this hotel. The first thing I would say is that the staff were in the majority polite and doing their best, but appeared overworked. On two occasions when at the reception...

Dear Guest, We are sorry if you have not fully enjoyed your stay with us. Your opinion matters. Our customer service levels have always been our greatest success and staff are constantly trained and reminded on the procedures of telephone handling and checking in guests. Our service is friendly and yet efficient. On this occasion the staff member should have...

The hotel was exactly what I expected. Extremely small room but very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom sink was the smallest sink I have ever seen and extremely difficult to use and not get water everywhere. I am not tall and it was awkward reaching the sink. The shower head broke because it was so...

This hotel is very centrally located. It's basic enough but what do you need?! I had a fine stay, the room was small but I was only staying one night but even still it had everything I need. It was very clean and the breakfast was lovely.

The Alhambra is a very comfortable and clean hotel, ideally situated less than 5 minute's walk from both King's Cross and St Pancras Railway Stations. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are extremely good with plenty of choice. All things considered, it is an extremely good value for money hotel, very reasonably priced for London.

This is an excellent hotel to stay in if you need to be close to Kings Cross and St Pancras train stations. It isnt 5* luxury but then your not paying 5* prices. I paid around £90 mid-week B+B. It was for work purposes and it was just ideal. Very friendly receptionist, clean, modern, minimalist rooms and for once the...

Stayed in July for four nights. Rooms small and you get some exercise walking up the stairs but very clean, very friendly and helpful staff and very good breakfast. If you pay by credit card, about 2% tacked on but there are banking machines a block away.

We are two older travellers, and stayed Oct.21 to Nov.2nd,2011. We had a great stay. The hotel was very central, the room while small, was very clean and the ensuite was adequate. The staff were very helpful & friendly. They serve a great breakfast. Really nice sausages! There is sometimes a short wait for a table, but well worth the...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
