I've stayed in a few hotels in this area in single rooms (my favourite being the Angus Hotel further along the same road) which have varied in quality. This hotel fits in the middle somewhere. It wasn't as bad as some reviewers would have you believe, but nor did it wow me in any way. Check in was quick and... More

My aim was to find a cheap accommodation which is not a hostel and where I wouldn't have to share my bathroom. King's Cross Hotel was exactly perfect for a single traveler. It is just a few minutes from Tube (King's Cross/St. Pancras) as well Railway station station. The room was small, but clean and provided relatively good sleeping quality,... More

Hotel is well located for King's Cross/St.Pancras Stations and restaurants and pubs. After that it's all downhill, except got the narrow steep stairway to rooms. Not recommended for an older person - I know as I'm one. Room was very small, but I expected this, it was not unclean but grubby. The window opened but would just slide closed again... More

Clean and fairly typical of the b+bs in the area, has the advantage of being slightly more set back so quieter than average Checkin staff were efficient even when arriving late in the evening For the price paid it was a good place to stay if you just want to get your head down for some sleep

Don't use this place!!!! Arrived to find room we had booked was not what we'd requested. Told didn't have any twins. So we asked for re-fund which was refused. Told to ring booking.com direct. So asked to use phone which was refused. Left us stood at the reception, as he needed to go pray, with a girl who didn't know... More

Just returned from this hotel after staying 1 night -wish we hadnt!! Reception desk is almost on the street, tiny space to fit into anyway. Such a dated looking interior. Told on arrival that they had now closed breakfast room, and hadn't informed us(but if we still wanted breakfast, we could order something "continental" and eat it in our room....we... More

Firstly, we just wanted somewhere nearby kings cross station to stay that wasn't very expensive and basic. We found this for around 50 pounds, and if I'm honest after seeing it, I probably wouldn't have paid any more than a tenner to stay here. On reflection I wish I'd looked for some reviews, it didn't cross my mind. We got... More

I stood there in March 2016 for 5 days in a single room. There was not a wardrobe or shelf for the clothes. Not table, only a beside table. But that was full with a electric kettle. No breakfast room. No space to get your breakfast in your room... Never again!

Wonderful place to stay, clean and tidy, friendly and courteous staff who will help you if required. I left some paperwork i needed back in Australia and the staff gladly accepted a phone call from Australia and gave the person their email address and printed the paperwork out for me, no problem at all. Close to London King's Cross/ St... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
