Recently moved from my flat and forewarned the hotel that I would have a lot of luggage... I wanted to ensure that no one would physically have to carry my suitcases; but on arrival I found there was no trolley, only manpower and I felt that was a bit unfair especially for the people helping me! I was advised by... More

The cost of this afternoon tea is half that of the top hotels and as such I need to be mindful in the review. The hotel is situated in a quiet haven near Victoria station. It is small but the staff were friendly although the waitress did not have a good understanding of English. Sandwich selection was okay and the... More

We had a lovely stay at the Eccleston Square hotel. Small but quint rooms, lovely bathrooms (with glass that frosts with a flick of a button)... technology like you wouldn't believe! They give you a cell phone to use throughout your stay - this was a superb feature being international visitors. Food was great quality, we had room service. We... More

Stayed here couple of years ago, location is good, very near Victoria for the tube. Really cool gadgets such as shower glass which can change from solid to clear by the touch of a button. Each room has an iPad which can control temperature, curtains etc. Very comfortable bed.

Each and every person I had any contact with was unfailingly helpful, friendly, and responsive—not a trace of "attitude" of any kind to be found. The front desk receptionist very helpfully recommended, and then arranged for, a car to Heathrow which was not much more than a cab plus train, and far more pleasant. My room was small but efficient,... More

The hotel is advertised really well but in the smart room given to us, the tablet didn't work. The Bath throbs were not included and the massager on the bed was really not worth paying so much money for, because you can hear when someone in other room is using the massager it feels like its a vibrations on an... I have stayed a few times in this hotel which I like very much. Very good and quiet location near Victoria station. Do not expect huge room, they are small but fully equipped with state of the art facilities. Bathroom big enough, full of marble. The room with the small balcony with view over the park is perfect for morning... More

A lovely hotel in a great spot. Have stayed here several times and it has always been perfect. The staff are lovely, the rooms are well set-out with plenty of electric plugs, nice big telly, great lighting options and nice bathrooms. Always immaculate. The restaurant is also great. Their late checkout (midday) is great for those who like to sleep... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
