My wife and I stayed there two nights and we would highly recommend this hotel. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Rooftop bar has a fantastic view. Central location means that many of the must-see's in London are within easy walking distance. And there are a huge number of choices for lunch and dinner close by. The concierge gave some... More

Fantastic location, staff are lovely and has a fantastic roof top bar. This hotel is worth a visit, on Trafalgar Square and just around the corner from Downing Street and The Mall, so 5 minutes walk from Buckingham Palace.

We stayed in the Trafalgar for 5 nights. We booked online and received a good discount being a Hilton Honor member. We had a 1 bed + a roller for my daughter. The room was spacious, and the 3 of us (& our 3 large luggage) had enough space to move around. The room was clean and comfortable. The air... More

Always enjoy our occasional stays at Trafalgar Hilton! Very expensive now of course but aware of great location! I have mentioned the toaster and really feel very annoyed that such a basic item was not functioning - bit shaming really. That's my breakfast - toast, jam and coffee. No more! Rooftop bar and nice weather made it worthwhile of course.... More

Had booked a special overnight stay with my girlfriend. I had booked an upgraded corner room overlooking Trafalgar Square. Good view - but couldn't open the windows (safety reasons). Furniture & décor in room was appalling. Furniture in particular was cheap & nasty. On the other hand the Hotel does have an impressive rooftop bar.

Stayed at the Hilton recently with my husband and two daughters, it's location was perfect for us as we were walking to the London Palladium. We were close to china Town and the Merlin attractions (Shrek tour, Sealife, London Eye and The Dungeons). We used the Trafalgar Q park next to the hotel and had our ticket validated by staff... I stayed here with my husband and elderly mother for one night in August. On booking I had requested adjoining rooms due to my mother being elderly and we were given interconnecting rooms making our support for her more easily achievable. Little did we realise what a bonus this would turn out to be.The rooms were well appointed and clean.... More

Very upset for many reasons. Firstly, we upgraded - our room was extremely unimpressive. We could not open the windows to look out over the square. I felt like a caged animal in the zoo. The furniture was cheap and nasty - looked like it was from ikea or worse. No sound system , CD player no CDS- stuck in... More

The hotel is in a perfect central location. Very close to Charing Cross tube station and only a short stroll away from Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square, Soho, Covent Garden and Westminster. Lovely hotel in an outstanding location, but pricey. Staff are, for the most part, extremely helpful and friendly, and the few requests we had were handled swiftly and professionally. breakfast is overpriced - you can get just as good in several nearby restaurants. Avoid 6th floor rooms if you don't like the sound of bass echoing through your ceiling -... More

Staying in St. James's

Neighborhood Profile
St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
