We stayed at this hotel on weekend of 4 October. The hotel itself is great but we found the service poor. We had booked for afternoon tea on the Saturday. After moving us between the lobby area and the dining room, they eventually settled us in the downstairs restaurant (basement location so limited natural light). Despite numerous staff coming and...

The rooms was clean, spacious and quiet. Especially compared to the average standards in London. The staff was friendly. The hotel is perfectly situated between lively Soho, a stonesthrow away from Chinatown and shares the street with the British museum.

Dear Guest I am delighted to read that you had an excellent stay with us. We are very much part of the Bloomsbury landscape. Designed by the world renowned architect Sir Edwin Lutyens, the neo-Georgian listed building offers one of the best locations in London. I look forward to welcoming you back soon, Best Regards Daniel Healey Deputy General Manager

This hotel looks impressive but if you book, ask about the room. We had a very small room and even smaller bathroom, no room for toiletries and no more than one person at a time! Overcrowded (with furniture) room for it's size and we were unable to walk around the bed, so one of us had to climb! One small...

Dear Guest Thank you very much for your review. We do have a variety levels of room types, the smaller suiting shorter stays due to size, perhaps on your next stay with us we can show you our other room types? I would be grateful for more information about your experience with our team member who ‘shrugged’ there shoulders, if...

Spent two pleasant nights here. Warm welcome with hot towels to refresh after the journey. Staff helpful and friendly. Room clean and comfortable with en suite with bathing essentials. Good turn down service with the customary chocolate. Breakfast continental or hot from the kitchen. Enjoyed both. Unfortunately cannot call a passing cab from the front entrance Concierge or staff member...

Dear Guest Thank you very much for taking the time to review us. It sounds like you enjoyed the location in particular, and overall experience. I am grateful for your feedback in regards to taxi’s, regrettably we do have to take a short walk to the end of our street ( 100 metres ) to hail a taxi. This is...

I stayed here for one night again recently and it was better than my last stay. I received an upgrade to a superior room at checkin and was delighted with my room. Spacious by london standards with a nice bathroom and great shower. This trip I ate in the hotel and really enjoyed my 2 steak sandwiches and a top...

Dear Guest Thank you very much for taking the time to review us. I am delighted that you felt that your experience was ‘5s tar’ – that is a wonderful endorsement. This is our second visit and although the hotel and front of house staff were brilliant the restaurant at breakfast was poor. We had to ask on both days for coffee or toast as it had not been delivered to our table. If it had been full we might have given them more time but they were not overly rushed.

Dear Guest Thank you very much for taking the time to review us. It is very helpful to have such helpful and constructive feedback. Breakfast, contrary to your experience is actually an experience that so many of our guests enjoy, however, it is clear that we have let you and other guests down on this busy morning. Second stay for business. Pros: location, cleanliness, elegance, food quality, US outlet, general comfort. The lobby smells like an Anthropologie store. Yes please. Cons: small shower, thin walls (some rooms), not able to hail a cab from hotel steps (they run down the street for you). Also, my colleagues were greeted with fruit baskets and warm towels. I just got...

Dear Guest Thank you very much for your review. It is great to hear you enjoyed so many aspects of your stay. I am of course disappointed to hear that your room had external noises coming in, I will personally check that the walls have sufficient sound proofing and doors also. If I may ask that on your return, you...

Stayed at the Bloomsbury for a week on business. One of the quietest hotels I've ever stayed at. Very clean, well maintained, and the staff was very helpful. Located within walking distance of many attractions, and a short walk to the Tottenham Court Road tube station. Highly recommend.

Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum.
